When reason objects
I laugh

That there’s something wrong

Drowning in pain and fear

Who has more courage
Than one who fights to live
Despite life’s violent storms?

About to erupt in pain

They’re good for you’
Your shaking voice speaks of a broken heart
But hearts mend themselves when torn apart
All that’s needed is some faith and time
So patiently wait and watch the pain depart
Don’t get lost within the maze of mind
Wishing your tears could move back time
Destinies are carved before we’re born
Mercy dripping down each and every line
