Most security programs can tell you what they did. Few can clearly show what changed. That’s the difference between 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 and 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀. If you can’t quantify 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗸 𝗿𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗱, or 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 – you’re navigating without a map. Stop measuring "inputs" and start measuring 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁. Consider the following metrics: ❶ 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 (MTTR) → Not just how fast you found it, but how fast you killed it. ❷ 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗰𝘆 → Is the $500k tool actually blocking the threats it promised to? ❸ 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗸 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 → The percentage of "critical" assets now covered by MFA or encryption. If you’re not tracking these, you’ll have a hard time presenting progress to the board. Get the full breakdown below...

What happens when attackers operate at machine speed… but defenders still operate at human speed? AI is already accelerating reconnaissance, exploitation, and attack execution. Meanwhile, most security teams are still buried in alerts, dashboards, and manual remediation workflows. That gap is becoming dangerous. Here, we put together a few thoughts on what security teams need to adapt before the gap gets wider. #CyberSecurity #AI #InfoSec #SecurityOperations

Accelerated by AI, the cyber threat landscape is moving faster than traditional "detect and respond" workflows can keep up with. Waiting until something happens means you’re already late. The latest research from Gartner®, Top Strategic Technology Trends for 2026: Preemptive Cybersecurity, makes the shift clear: Security must move from ❶ 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀 to ❷ 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁. For CIOs and CISOs, the implications are hard to ignore. 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝗜𝘀 𝗧𝗼𝗼 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗧𝗼𝗼 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝗲 → Traditional approaches are becoming less and less effective, putting operators at a tactical disadvantage. 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗜𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱 → Gartner predicts PCS will underpin 50% of security software spending by 2030 and support an overall stock market capitalization of more than $1T 𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿-𝗣𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀T → Preemption in CPS environments requires deeper scrutiny and a fundamentally different risk model. The AI arms race is on. Don’t wait for your next breach to modernize. Most companies are preparing for the wrong cyber war. The Stryker attack wasn’t a sophisticated exploit. It was an oversight. One mistake. 80,000 devices wiped. 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗯𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱. In her latest op-ed, Tal Kollender argues that state-sponsored attackers are no longer chasing ransom payouts. They’re targeting disruption, paralysis, and trust itself. Meanwhile, most enterprises are still relying on reactive security and manual remediation. 𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘁, 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘁𝗼𝗼 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲. 𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 – 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗲. In a recent BBC analysis on the evolving role of cyber operations in the Iran conflict, Remedio's CEO Tal Kollender shared a critical perspective: 𝗰𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗺𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗿 – enabling intelligence, disrupting adversaries, and influencing outcomes far beyond the digital domain. As geopolitical tensions rise, the lines between cyber, physical operations, and business risk continue to blur. 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 – 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹. At Remedio, we’re committed to bringing this level of clarity to organizations navigating today’s threat landscape – where 𝗌𝗉𝖾𝖾𝖽, 𝖼𝗈𝗇𝗍𝖾𝗑𝗍, 𝖺𝗇𝖽 𝗋𝖾𝗆𝖾𝖽𝗂𝖺𝗍𝗂𝗈𝗇 are what ultimately make the difference. Nobody goes to a garage just to have a mechanic explain why they are stuck. Yet, somehow that's still where we're at with cybersecurity. We have tools that scan, flag, and ticket. But when it comes to actually fixing things, we're still on our own. Remedio was built different. We don't content ourselves simply "observing & reporting" your posture. We proactively harden your environments and remove exposure. The cybersecurity industry doesn’t have a finding problem. 𝗜𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗳𝗶𝘅𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺. In Mashable's coverage of Anthropic’s Claude Mythos, Tal Kollender cuts through the hype: AI is accelerating vulnerability discovery at scale – but 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗲. If anything, it widens the gap. Because finding risk faster means nothing if you can’t remediate it just as fast. 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 👇

The modern CISO isn’t just fighting threats – they’re 𝗳𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆. Every new tool adds another layer of complexity. Every compliance framework adds another burden. And yet, misconfigurations still slip through. Why? Because this is 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝘂𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲. The place where every control depends on one thing – configuration integrity. Because true CISOs doesn’t just react. They anticipate, prevent, and harden. Remedio answers that call with 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 and remediation that works – safely, scalably, and sustainably. Security teams do a lot. Of that there's little doubt. But is doing a lot still enough? When success is measured by tickets closed, alerts handled, or patches deployed, it’s hard to answer the only question that really matters: 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗸 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲-𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘀 are becoming essential – and how security leaders can work to prove 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁, not 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁.
