Some Christians may not be able to live holy and righteous lives, in-spite of their sincere efforts. Just as the Apostle Paul says, all that they are able to do, in-spite of their best efforts and intentions is sin. Now God does forgive sin and there is hope for this sinner. But then the thought may still arise in his heart that he is pushing God’s mercy to its utmost limit and that he may have exhausted all of God’s patience with him.
