A step forward in strengthening financial fraud prevention in India. RBIH has signed an MoU with CyberDost I4C, under the Ministry Of Home Affairs (mha), GOI, to strengthen efforts in combating cyber-enabled financial frauds and curbing mule accounts across the banking and digital payments ecosystem. This collaboration brings together I4C’s cybercrime intelligence capabilities and RBIH’s MuleHunter.ai™, an AI-driven fraud detection system to help banks identify mule accounts more effectively. And it’s a wrap on NFPC! We concluded the three-month journey of the National Fraud Prevention Challenge (NFPC), a hackathon organised in partnership with TRYST, IIT Delhi. With close to 2,000 applications from students across the country, forming 500+ teams, the initiative focused on nurturing young talent to leverage AI/ML skills for fraud prevention. Participants worked on real-world use cases, applying creative problem-solving to build scalable solutions for mule account detection—a key enabler of financial fraud. Following a rigorous evaluation by an expert jury, 12 teams made it to the grand finale, with the top three receiving cash prizes totalling ₹10 lakhs.
