airtel Business has secured a multi-year contract from the Indian Railways Security Operations Centre (IRSOC) to design, build, and operate a comprehensive cybersecurity protection ecosystem for Indian Railways. The initiative will establish a greenfield, multi-layered defence framework to secure the vast IT backbone of one of the world’s largest railway networks, ensuring uninterrupted and safe digital operations across its services. The project will include Make In India cybersecurity technologies, creating a sovereign, compliant, and AI-embedded security ecosystem to protect critical infrastructure. With over 13,000 trains, 20 million daily commuters, and 1.5 billion tonnes of freight transported annually, securing Indian Railways’ digital ecosystem has become paramount. “At Airtel Business, we understand that in today's times of escalating cyber risks that threaten operational continuity, data integrity and passenger safety, advanced defence mechanisms play a critical role,” said Sharat Sinha, CEO and Director of Airtel Business. He added that the new security stack will enhance efficiency in ticketing, data management, and protect millions of daily digital interactions from evolving cyber threats. Dilip Kumar, EDIP - Railway Board, underscored the importance of cybersecurity amid the growing dependence on digital infrastructure. “Cyber security is of the utmost importance,” he said, noting that the establishment of IRSOC will enable continuous monitoring of railway assets, early threat detection, and collaboration with National Cyber Security Agencies. He emphasized that the centralised operations centre will strengthen service reliability and protect passengers’ interests by ensuring seamless and secure railway operations.

Surat-based Solex Energy Limited - High Efficiency Solar Modules migrated the company from the NSE EMERGE platform to the NSE Main Board. Announcing this migration, in a press release, the company said that Solex was among the first companies to be listed on the NSE EMERGE platform in 2018, and since then has demonstrated strong growth and resilience. The latest announcement aligns with Solex Energy's goal to further strengthen its manufacturing leadership during the year. The company has already commenced commercial production at its new 800 MW Tadkeshwar facility, bringing total operational capacity to 1.5 GW. Additionally, Solex shared that a 2.5 GW expansion project is under testing and is expected to achieve full-scale production by Diwali 2025, while another 2.5 GW expansion planned for FY26 will take the company’s total capacity to 6.5 GW by 2027.
