Across three continents, regulators and builders moved the rails closer to mainstream finance. Here’s what mattered 👇 1. Avalon X crosses $200K - real estate meets retail demand Avalon X (AVLX) surpassed $200K in presale funding, positioning itself as a top RWA entrant for 2025. Its thesis: fractional ownership in a $379 trillion global real-estate market via tokenized shares. Real estate is officially the next frontier for accessible, on-chain investing. 2. NB HASH brings stable yields to DeFi Launched October 14, NB HASH’s “RWA Wealth Program” connects crypto investors to yield-bearing instruments backed by real-world operations. A hybrid of cloud mining + DeFi + TradFi income, it’s part of a growing trend toward tokenizing cash flow, not just ownership. 3. UK FCA opens the door for tokenized funds On October 14, the Financial Conduct Authority proposed enabling tokenized investment funds, including direct-to-fund retail access. This puts the UK alongside Ireland & Luxembourg - and edges Europe closer to a tokenized fund market that can plug directly into DeFi liquidity. 4. India’s RBI pilots tokenized certificates of deposit India’s central bank is preparing a pilot to tokenize money-market instruments (CDs) - bringing wholesale finance onto secure digital rails. In a country where daily settlement volumes exceed $2 trillion, even small-scale pilots can have massive ripple effects. 5. AlloyX launches Asia’s “Ondo moment” Announced on October 15, Hong Kong-based AlloyX (RYT) offers institutional-grade tokenized assets with ~4.4% APY, backed by Cayman-compliant real-world investments. It’s the clearest signal yet that Asia wants its own RWA hub - regulated, yield-oriented, and globally connected. 6. Institutions keep building - from Wall Street to Web3 U.S. Bancorp launched a digital-asset & tokenization unit; BlackRock’s BUIDL hit $600 million AUM; and data from RWA.xyz shows tokenized Treasuries up 544.8% YTD to $5.6 billion. Meanwhile, Bitget expanded its Universal Exchange (UEX) for cross-chain RWA trading with new USDT support. Traditional finance isn’t watching - it’s integrating. The Bigger Picture Tokenization has officially gone global. London is writing the rules. Mumbai is testing the pipes. Hong Kong is chasing yields. Standard Chartered-backed digital asset platform Zodia Markets has raised $18.25 million in its series A funding round amid a surge in institutional demand for crypto. Zodia Markets, which has an office in Abu Dhabi, said that the investment will support its geographical expansion. “Institutional capital shouldn’t have to wait for banking hours or be held back by manual workarounds,” Usman Ahmad said.
