1 He's a pretty organized kind of a guy. New legos in the house, this is what he was doing on his own for quite a while. I like kids' creations.


2 She has become a total bookworm, reading so much that I feel like I have to tell her not to read so long. Should I be telling her that, I'm not sure. I like it that there are big piles of books everywhere. I like books.


3 I like it when I turn off the light upstairs and close my eyes and then open my eyes and it's not dark because the night light is on. I do this every evening.


4 Spring, light


5 I like music, I should listen to more music. I've had nice music classes in my weekend studies. I had a cello in my hands for the first time ever. I wish I had experienced that a bit sooner in my life.


6 I like to sleep. I should sleep more.


7 I like magazines but there aren't that many magazines that I like.


8 Hydrangeas


9 I like it that I have a friend who just bought a house in southern France.


10 I like knitting. I'm not crazy about knitting or very productive though. I think I'd like weaving.




An addition:
11 I like eating cinnamon rolls and drinking warm apple juice outside.

 A book that came out in January. A photo shoot that took place last autumn. I just got her new rubber boots, those ones are too small now, and broken too.


I'm done with my translation now, and there's a banana cake in the oven.

If you get just one book about Helsinki (World Design capital 2012) this year, this one could be the one. It exists in english too and features good people. Like Aamu & Johan of Company. And Hanna Konola. And Tuula Pöyhönen of Onni. And the set designer of many Aki Kaurismäki films, Markku Pätilä! Oh he has a wonderful looking home.

This is my deadline week. It's very sunny. I'm once again thinking about a haircut, growing your hair back is hard work. I could have a Karen O hair in between? 

Oh and Kim Gordon is coming to Helsinki this summer!! With Ikue Mori!

puzzle day

Today is Women's day, but I never know what that is supposed to mean. 


Little V is crazy about puzzles these days, and his sister was getting him all the puzzles we have. "He's so good at this that I'm almost scared!" 


I'm knitting a shirt for V and would like to be knitting all the time now. It's going to be finished soon! It's quite an accomplishment for me. I get to see her knit work every now and then. Inspiring. I'm also waiting to receive my copy of a new knitting book. I'm also into washing the dishes. But not into cooking.
