Women’s Fall-Winter 2026 "Collezione 08" TERRA Nostalgia, memory, recollection personal and universal. The Fall/Winter 2026 Moschino collection by Creative Director Adrian Appiolaza is an homage to his childhood home, Argentina. Yet within this distinctly personal inspiration, a Moschino language is found - of affection, wit and ceaseless curiosity. Tongue-in-cheek meets tongue-in-chic. Franco Moschino was a master of contradiction: both embracing and exploding clichés, a serious sense of humor. Here, a collection can manage to be both local and global, intimate and touristic. A journey through paradigms and archetypes, an embracing of a cast of characters, the collection is a celebration of individuality both in conception and creation. Each look is approached as a distinct and idiosyncratic persona, their passage charting a journey from the urbanity of Buenos Aires through the countryside - shifting the everyday, with an audacious sense of fun. There is a child-like exaggeration to silhouettes, to the figures that populate memory - well-dressed bourgeois ladies, soccer-obsessed teenagers, countrymen and countrywomen, tango dancers. As tourists in Argentina, we recognize landmarks, monuments and icons - the Obelisco de Buenos Aires, Evita, heroic gauchos of the Pampas. Knitted llamas become three-dimensional, leap from sweaters as brooches - lama glama. But there are also subtle touches, knowing nuances - craft knits, rounded shapes, references to the elaborate swirls of the Fileteado Porteño decorative style. Delicate peep-toe tango shoes are twisted, their T-bar strap dancing aside. A sense of displacement, like a visitor. Things which don’t belong - elaborate ruffles are executed in latex, tailoring is amplified with doudoune padding and layers. Heritage tablecloths in broderie anglaise become draped dresses, knits are playfully destroyed, moth-ravaged yet lovingly kept. Collaborating with the estate of Quino, the graphic artist’s character Mafalda appears as a cartoon print in the trademark Moschino tradition. She is a new counterpart to Franco Moschino’s Olive Oyl – who Franco loved, because she made him laugh as a child. From one Argentine icon to another: Evita. Her sharply-tailored dresses draw an affinity across the Atlantic, with the superlative craft that has always characterized Moschino DNA. They tango at the finale in couples, with playful ruffles, a joy in motion. A deep irony, always. Wit is in the hand: the Moschino emblem of trompe l’oeil is expressed in ever-playful handbags, some sentimental and personal, some all-inclusive, stereotypical. A pretend bag of Churros appears alongside a rotary telephone, like grandmothers, or silver photographic frames - as Moschino memento. MOSCHINO MEN'S SPRING/SUMMER AND WOMEN'S RESORT 2026 "Collezione 05" LAS VEGAS LIGHTS, GROCERY STORE AISLES, GYM WORK OUTS AND GRAND CANYON HEIGHTS: MOSCHINO’S CAST FINDS FASHION IN THE EVERYDAY For Men’s Spring/Summer 2026 and Women’s Resort 2026 collections Moschino invites you on a surreal holiday that blurs the boundaries between vacation fantasy and everyday rituals. Under the creative direction of Adrian Appiolaza’s visionary spirit, this season’s menswear and womenswear collections see our beloved Moschino characters cast into a cinematic whirlwind of escapism - with a twist. From the neon dreams of Las Vegas to the chlorinated glamour of a motel pool, from the fluorescent-lit poetry of a midnight grocery run to the dusty, sublime vastness of the Grand Canyon, to sweating it out at the gym after a night out— this is a collection that travels, pauses, and wanders. The supermarket aisle becomes an unlikely runway. Boucle jackets with marabou trim, inspired by the girls who lunch but forgot about dinner. Cart-pushing chic is real! Then, suddenly - the Grand Canyon. Fashion turns poetic, and contemplative. Dusty tones of ochre, rust, and sun-bleached sky are the backdrop for denim, structured white blouses, Sports-inspired tailoring, and a flying goose dress. A new frontier of high-altitude glamour is born. A cinematic tonal shift - a Christmas Eve motel pool party. Under pink motel lights and a blinking Christmas tree, eveningwear emerges with equal parts irony and charm. A black high neck knit gown with silver sequin shooting stars, a black cocktail dress adorned with crystal chains and a silver sequined shift with a tinsel stole paired with your very own present purse. At the local gym, the Moschino girl arrives for her pilates class in her trench coat with her Tie Me Bag detailed sleeve. Sport and satire mix with a couple in matching statue trompe l’oeil and transparent classics. Activewear meets tailoring, with seer sucker summer suiting and mohair net tennis sweaters with coordinating gym bag - ironic, iconic, and totally wearable. This collection is about what happens when fantasy leaks into reality and vice versa. The holiday never really ends, because life itself is a series of surreal, stylish interruptions. With these collections, Moschino reminds us that fashion doesn’t wait for special occasions. Whether you’re lounging poolside, pushing a cart down aisle seven, or peering over the edge of the Grand Canyon, it’s always in reach. MOSCHINO WOMEN’S SHOW SPRING/SUMMER 2026 "Collezione 06" - NIENTE Reuse, recycle, reimagine – these are the core tenets of the Spring/Summer 2026 Moschino collection by creative director Adrian Appiolaza. To reuse is to repurpose, recalibrate and reevaluate. To recycle is to reconsider, reappraise and reclaim. To reimagine is to revitalize, reconceptualize and redefine. All have their inherent place within the panorama of fashion, and the framework of a heritage house - where a future is born from respect and reconsideration of a past, where newness can be found in that which surrounds. Niente - much made with little. The ethos of the Arte Povera movement - quintessentially Italian, anarchic and ironic - is less inspiration than kindred spirit, aligned with the philosophies of Franco Moschino and alive still in the house that bears his name. That movement’s core belief systems - a return to simplicity, the meaning in the quotidian, nature alongside industry, dynamic energy - is translated to a collection that pays homage to the sheer ingenuity of the creative act as a means of transformation. Fashioning fashion. Pre-existing pieces are recalibrated, garments crushed patched and combined to form the raw material for new pieces, dresses and accessories. Humble and human materials and gestures - sack cloth, rope, wood, lacing, knotting - are elevated. Naive flowers become poetic embroideries, strewn across dresses and tailoring; potato sacks become an evening inspired top and skirt. These reflect a questioning of values and meanings, the notion that luxury may have a different worth. Here, luxury is evoked by a sense of the hand, of craft, of the joy of making. The ordinary becomes extraordinary. There is a sense of curiosity, of surprise - materials transforming under the touch, becoming other. A bouffant evening skirt is executed in crinoline, normally hidden; knits are created with technical raffia, recycled from plastics. Accessories toy with perception - leather appears as cardboard, taped “Fragile”; a package of apples or a bundle of newspapers becomes idiosyncratic handbags. The signature Moschino “Tie Me Bag” is executed in rubber, or “dressed” in cloth. In turn, to recycle is to rediscover. References to Moschino’s heritage, to the Smiley, his trompe l’oeil effects, his newspaper prints of the early 1990s, today updated with our good news. His always-ironic take on the contemporaneous. And now as then, there is an obsessive love for fashion, insomuch as fashion as true expression of imagination - a playfulness and a play with clothes. This collection is a discovery - of the wonder in the everyday, the something within “nothing”.
