Prof. Alessandra Bolino is seeking a highly motivated research fellow to join the research team at the San Raffaele Scientific Institute in Milan, Italy (https://www.unisr.it/en/docenti/b/bolino-alessandra). This role is central to an innovative research program dedicated to developing therapeutic strategies for the most severe forms of inherited peripheral neuropathies with childhood onset, the demyelinating Charcot-Marie Tooth type 4.
The successful candidate will contribute to unravel the interplay between the mTOR complexes and Rho-mediated signalling pathway in the context of myelination taking advantage of established and extensively characterized in vivo and ex vivo models of inherited neuropathies. This project develops from data recently published in Nature Communications (Sawade et al. 2020) and in PNAS (Guerrero-Valero et al., 2021).
Candidate profile
Please submit a letter of intent, your curriculum vitae, and the contact information for academic references to Alessandra Bolino, bolino.alessandra@hsr.it.
