$O$ Cast: How being TOO NICE keeps you broke

[VIDEO] Being too nice might cause you to pursue those jobs which are lower paying though less demanding and certainly less competitive.

Of course there is a fine line between being timid vs being too assertive. Sometimes being always disagreeable is as bad and being timid and unwilling to speak up could cause a person to be forgettable.

Sometimes it's about how you go about it. You could turn it up all the time and that might cause some people to back off from you. Or you can turn it down to mute and you won't even register.

Let's say at work, if you're the one always being the "tattletale" always trying to call people out and often for the wrong reasons being very dramatic then people might not look at you very favorably. On the other hand if you never talk or stay quiet then you run the risk of being someone who just blends in and don't stand out.

One just have to find the right way to stand out and that's difficult as I'm learning. It's OK to be competitive, though I hope you're competitive for the right reasons. That is really challenge yourself though I hope you do so against the best and hopefully it helps you achieve your goals.

Valuetainment: Andrew Tate explains how to fix America

[VIDEO] If you can catch up to his manner of speaking, what he says is interesting.

He tackles a lot of social and cultural issues affecting the world today. He might say the matrix wants all the buildings of the world to look the same. The reasoning, they don't want people to have an attachment to a place.

He tackles the issue of beauty. What's beautiful if anything is beautiful? Beauty is something that is difficult to attain. And again a beautiful building an architect worked to make that building something for people to want to look at or visit. Also a beautiful woman works out to maintain her body, though ideally one should maintain their body for their own health.

And certainly parents raising children. How much time do parents spend speaking with their children? Do parents instill their own values to their children? Do they even know what's going on at school anymore? And who actually raises the children now?

If you have an hour of Patrick Bet David speaking with men's right activist Andrew Tate who is currently under house arrest in the Eastern European Republic of Romania having been indicted by the court system there.

Larry Elder speaks with Shahrazad Ali

[VIDEO] Wow I can't believe she's still around now. Probably been seeing her on the TV talk show circuit I'm pretty sure she was on Donahue once or twice. Wait I don't know if I have any kids reading this, but they would know nothing about Phil Donahue, perhaps if they watched MSNBC in the early 2000s where he returned to the genre.

Regardless this was an interesting debate between Ali and Elder. He does refute somethings that she says, especially about if it's easier for Black students to get into the college of their choice, whatever their grades might be.

Of course what's emphasized for this discussion, fatherlessness. Ali has spoken out about over the years about relationships between Black men and women. She states here that Black women - I might point the finger at young Black women doesn't really know how to relate to the Black man. It doesn't help that fatherlessness affects young Black girls as much as it might affect young Black men such as that soundbite from the late great Tupac Shakur.

He states that if his father was around he probably would be a better son and that perhaps his mother - who I understand had some real issues in her life - probably wouldn't go down the road she had when she was raising Tupac.

This is an interesting discussion worth your time.

Glenn Beck: We’ve DESTROYED men in America

[VIDEO] Quite a few thoughts to express with this 17 min video.

Beck starts off talking about how men generally tell their sons how to treat women. Perhaps their mother, sister, girlfriend, wife, or perhaps just women in general. And then he asks has a woman ever taught her daughter how to treat a man?

In my life and as I've gotten older I found myself wondering how many women know how to relate to men. And especially acute if there is no man at home to teach young girls how to relate to men or boys.

Another point here is what is the difference between a man and a boy. A boy is petty and impulsive, but a man stands up for everyone's rights he's a true protector.

However, we now have a new question. What is a man? How does one define a man? Can a woman be a man? Or can a man be a woman?

You know I know I'm referencing a wrestling character but after watching this video time to go back to "head of the table" mode. I'd rather be a man at the gate to defend the village than a man who opts to lead from behind.

Morehouse College to consider transgender men

The transgender issue has finally reached the halls of Morehouse College. For those of you who don't know I graduated from Morehouse in 2009 with a BA in pol. sci. and it's the only liberal arts college for Black men.

I also want to note what a difference a decade makes as before graduating it was being debated in my religion class with Dr. Aaron Parker any issues with gay students or cross-dressing students. I wrote about it on this blog at that time and while I never offered my thoughts in class I offered my thoughts. It just shows how my views on that issue from that time had evolved. The thoughts in that earlier post doesn't reflect what I think about homosexuality today.

With this said, it seemed that back then the burning social debate a decade ago was whether or not gay couples should be married. Then a few years after graduating we've resolved this issue, and now the burning social issues of our time is transgender rights. Morehouse is attempting to address this with their new admissions policy as you will see below from The Maroon Tiger.
There's probably a nuance here I don't understand, however, it appears nothing has really changed. If you're a woman transitioning to becoming a man you won't be admitted and if you're a man who decides during his enrollment that he wants to transition to becoming a woman then he won't automatically be eligible for a degree.

It seems as far as whether or not a young man wants to transition into living as a member of the opposite gender a lot of counseling will have to be involved. This I actually agree with one should be able to talk with someone about something I consider an extreme step. I suppose the question to be asked for someone who wants to significantly alter their identity in this way is whether or not they need to stay at a school that wants to retain their masculine identity.

Tucker: Washington not worried about male wage crisis

Consider this a rare Sunday post as it's one of those days I have chosen to not post since starting to post more frequently in the last two months.

[VIDEO] A regular segment on FOX News' Tucker Carlson Tonight. I shared the initial edition with an interview from Canadian professor Jordan Peterson last week. The segment you see above aired on Tucker's program on Wednesday.

The focus are the types of jobs that are male dominated which are mainly blue-collar jobs that it could be said are at risk due to automation. As a result if you're a blue-collar man you may not be getting those high-paying jobs that perhaps your father or grandfather did years ago. As stated by Tucker when men's wages decline families fall apart...

Of course there's more to this, if men aren't getting high paying jobs they don't form families. Right now the policy is all about solving the issue of equal pay for men and women. Not that this is entirely problematic, women should be paid for the same work as men. Problem is men aren't getting into jobs that are high-paying especially high-paying blue-collar jobs.

I want to break this down to race though I don't want to over complicate my comments. My favorite refrain has been if there is a crisis of men in America, then this by default means there is a crisis for Black men. So does this wage crisis - or men's wages are going down because those high-paying blue collar jobs are starting to go away - affecting Black men and their families also?

That's a question to ponder?
