I know, it's been over a month and I'm way behind. Here is THE picture I got from Patrick's big day. John went ahead with Patrick to get dressed and I had to feed the baby and get Will dressed before I could go up. Well, I got there just in time (as soon as I walked in the building, I was overcome with the Spirit and emotion--my baby boy is growning up!) for it to start and hurried and got this picture with John and Patrick. I wanted to get a picture of Patrick and his friend, Garrett, who was also being baptized. He and Patrick are great friends, they are 2 days apart and they're in the same class at school. We feel very blessed that he lives close and that they get along so well, they're cute little friends.The baptism didn't start until 7 p.m. so afterward we just came back to the house for dessert. Grandma and Grandpa Roylance drove down that morning just to be a part of it and then they drove home right after, that was so nice of them and meant a lot to Patrick. They also saved us with an underwear run to the store. The thought never crossed my mind that I might need to get him some plain white underwear, of which he had none, so a big THANK YOU to Grandma and Grandpa R for saving the day!!!
We were excited to see our friends Jen, Haillie and Terran too, they were so sweet to come down and be a part of the experience. Patrick and Haillie have been great friends since they were born. They get along so well, I hope they always will, we just love you, Wimmers.
It is so fun to see Patrick get so grown up. He's at an age where we can kind of hang out and enjoy some of the same things (ex. he actually wants to go see High School Musical 3 with me, John does not), it's so fun, I get excited for all of my kids to be so enjoyable. Don't get me wrong, I love all stages, this is just so new because Patrick's the first, I'm just loving it!
