Golden Words!

“Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.” James 4:10 KJV

Colossians 1:9

King James Version (KJV) 9For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

2 Corinthians 4:17

King James Version (KJV)17For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

John 3:16-18

King James Version (KJV) 16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

 17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

18He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Favorite Hymns!

I love good old hymns that sing about Jesus and His love for you and His love for me. A favorite of mine and of the children at Sunday school is ” Jesus Loves  Me”. It goes like this.  Jesus loves me, this I know, and the Bible tells me so; little ones to him belong, in his love we shall be strong. Yes,  Jesus loves me, yes, Jesus loves me,  yes Jesus loves me, the Bible tells me so.  Jesus loves me,  this I know, as he loved so long ago,  taking children on his knee, saying, ” let them come to me.”  Jesus loves me still today, walking with me on my way, wanting as a friend to give light and love to all that live.  Yes Jesus loves you and He love me, the Bible tells us so!

Poem [Fight the Good Fight]

It’s easy to say you’re beaten and die;
It’s easy to crawfish and crawl.
But to fight and to fight when hope’s out of sight
That is the best game of them all.
And tho you came out of each little battle
All beaten and battered and scarred,
Just have one more try, it’s easy to die,
It’s the keeping on living that’s hard.
