A FAVORITE BIBLE CHAPTER

I have read Psalms many time and have had many favorites among them Psalms 121,122,23,37; today I am sharing Psalms 63.

Psalm 63 King James Version

63 O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;

To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.

Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.

Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.

My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:

When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.

Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.

My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.

But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth.

10 They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes.

11 But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.

BEYOND THE CROSS

Jesus takes us beyond the cross,
around God’s throne to be,
singing praises to our King,
for eternity.
Jesus takes us beyond the cross,
for in God’s word,
I am told,
He became our Savior,
so we could walk,
the streets of gold.
Jesus takes us beyond the cross,
to dwell with our Heavenly Father there,
He will wipe away our tears,
there will be no pain, no sorrow,no care.
Jesus takes us beyond the cross,
because of His love and grace,
so will you put your faith in HIm?
and dwell with Him in this wonderful place.

THE WALK!

wint68,70pluswint's avatar70 PLUS WINT!

I walked,

out the old woods road,

just a short walk,

to see some deer,

and how much,

the red pine,

had grown in a year.

I saw,

the tree branches lift,

lift their branches,

high in the wind,

seeming to praise,

the one who created them.

I walked slowly,

a few steps ahead,

I scared a grouse,

it just missed my head.

Then, two whitetails,

ran through the aspens,

all these wonders,

were a part,

wonderful part of God’s plan;

So let’s open our eyes,

and enjoy God’s creation,

lifting our arms,

and clapping our hands,

giving HIM the glory,

and the praise,

and the thanks,

that we are a part,

special part of HIS plan.

JUST WATCHING!

wint68,70pluswint's avatar70 PLUS WINT!

cropped-biblecrosssunset-vi.jpg

I am watching the clouds floating bye my window and these thoughts came into mind!

The clouds float in,

the clouds float out,

The sun peaks in,

The sun peaks out;

The weather man says rain,

To that there is some doubt.

There is sin within,

and there is sin without;

Our behavior as we walk,

may cause others to doubt!

God’s Son shines His light in,

God’s fruit of the Spirit flows out;

So believers let us walk,

Walk in the spirit,

as directed by the Holy Spirit,

living in Christ producing no doubt!
