It's hard to believe our baby girl is one year old! She is so fun and her independent personality is starting to shine. She is very determined to learn new things! She walks everywhere now. One day she stood up in the middle of the living room and just took off! And hasn't crawled since! She is starting to sound out words and there are a few we recognize- mama, daddy, all done, kitty, binky, and thank you. Some of her favorite things are: books (she could be read to all day long),music (she loves to dance), being tickled, "trying on" mom's clothes and shoes, going for walks in her stroller and being outside in general, bath time, giving high-fives, stealing Benson's art supplies and running away as fast as she can, and emptying every possible drawer and cupboard. She has 8 teeth and weighs in between 21 and 22 pounds. She has not been in for her 12 month checkup due to covid-19.
We had a small birthday party with grandparents. She liked the whipped cream frosting on her cake and the fresh strawberries! She wasn't quite sure about us singing Happy Birthday nor the candle on her cake. Her brothers helped her open presents and she was very excited about her ride on toy and new clothes. We love you Brielle! We can't wait to see what new things you learn this year!
