...Vivint Cruse 2011...

After last summer, we got to go on another cruise with Jeffers work and it was a BLAST!

We had such a great time, it was one of my favorite cruises thus far and I think that was because of the people we were with!

It was a cruise to the Eastern Caribbean and we loved every minute of it (:

We rented a jeep in ST. JOHNS and drove ALL around the island...we had so much fun with these two!

 This beach is the actual beach where the 'Corona Beers commercials are filmed' it was so fun and so secluded...it was our favorite!

Our third stop was at ST. MAARTEN'S and we rented FOUR-WHEELERS and drove all around the island with the whole gang

This beach was right off of the airport and so you would be at the beach and all of a sudden a plane would be right above your head! It was the coolest thing! I love the picture of Jeff with the plane right above him...it was seriously that close to us!

We went on the French side in St. Maarten and ate these delicious beauties....fruit pie (which was the best fruit pie that I had EVER eaten) and then we ate CREPES (my favorite)! What was so cool is that Matt (dude in the black hat) went to Paris on his mission and spoke french so it was so fun to hear him speak his second language to all the french people there! (:

Funny/Scary story... it was such a hot day while we were walking around the shops so Matt, Tess and Jeff jumped in the ocean right next to the shops and were in it for a good while...and all of a sudden this random lady working near by came walking over and said that last week there was a SHARK swimming right where THEY WERE! I have never seen anyone swim that fast hahaha I was laughing so hard once they got out and they did too once they knew they were still alive! (:

Here were our servers...we loved them they were awesome!

That cruise was so much fun and we got to see so many cool places! We would totally do that cruise again, especially with the Madsens, Mechams and McArthurs! We love you guys!

...American Idol Concert...

Old news but....last summer my sister Chae and I got to go to the American Idol Season 10 concert and on top of that (thanks to our good family friend) got us BACKSTAGE PASSES to meet the singers!

We decided to keep it a secret from my sister Chae because she is a HUGE fan of Mr. Scotty McCreery. So we had told her that we had to go to the Maverick Center to get our tickets early before they sold them...and she bought it ha! 

When we got there....little did she know that we were just about to meet the singers right then and there. (: When we told Chae that she was going to meet Scotty McCreery in a couple of minutes she freaked out and about fainted ha ha it was hilarious! 

So here is some of the pictures of that great night (:

 This is where we met the singers.....kind of lame on how they ran it....they sat just like that and signed then passed down the picture with them all on it and we got our copy at the end of the line.

They wouldn't even let us take pictures WITH them! So lame! 

 But at least we met them (:
Oh and don't mind that some of these pictures are blurry (thanks to the man that made us hurry through the line)

 Paul was who I absolutely loved (: he was so corkey and weird that it made me like him so much more!

When we got to him I must have gotten starstruck because I don't think I said anything to him...bummer!

 Pia was really sweet and she rocked it at the concert (:

 Lauren didn't say much but maybe that's because of how rushed they made us all feel...seriously!

 Luckily this picture turned out pretty good! (: But I have to say Scotty really was such a nice guy! Chae claims that he was talking to her in this picture ha (I tell ya she is quite obsessed!)

 Of course she had to get a shirt with his face on it(:

 We were rebels and moved seats...and yes we were pretty much on front row but on the side of the stage (:

Here is Mr. McCreery doing his thing on stage and he did so good! Such a country boy with that voice like Josh Turner and sporting wrangler jeans ha ha!

 Yes that would be Mark Ballas from Dancing With The Stars (:

He was standing a few rows in front of us and I swear I was the only one who noticed him! So I started taking pictures of him and the security guard who was facing our way noticed that I was and was seriously  laughing at me and motioned to me if I wanted a picture with him and I nodded my head YES! So he told Mark that I did and Mark turned around and ran right up to where I was standing and took a picture with me! (so sad it turned out blurry but at least I got my picture with him) It was like he was so happy that I had noticed him because he was so quick to come up to me and he was so cool! 

So that night was quiet a night of me meeting famous people and we had a really good time! (:
