Fun days

So, we're pretty convinced that Mandy is bonkers. And more fun than a barrel of monkeys, to boot. Here's what our crazy baby has been up to.

She discovered her daddy's CD rack. You could tell the exact moment she realized that all those fun little plastic things were removable! She just kept pulling them off faster and faster.

Here is a guilty face for you! Pulling dishes out of the cupboard; another favorite activity.

A sad face after a dish fell on her head. She was so incredibly offended at us for letting it hit her!

I left the room for a minute and forgot to put the cap back on her container of Banana Puffs. This is what I found when I came back.

Jeff, Mandy, and I went to the Rub BBQ at...Rio? Yes, at the Rio. Very excellent BBQ. We had to spend our entire $50 gift certificate in one go. We thought it would be more pricey than it was, so we ended up ordering a whole lot of food. I forgot to take a picture before we ate, but here's what was left when we were done stuffing ourselves!

Happy New Year!

We welcomed the New Year in with Kris and Sarah Leavitt, at his parent's home, along with a bunch of people and teenagers I have never seen before. They have a little boy Mandy's age, who was actually asleep the whole time (Lucky them!) so we still have not met! Mandy, of course, stayed up past midnight. We had a fun time!

My New Year Resolutions:
1. Be more optimistic. I have developed a tendency to complain lately that I'd really do away with.
2. Write in my journal more than once or twice a month. My patriarchal blessing tells me that journal keeping is important, and I'm afraid I'm rather hit and miss.
3. Cut back on the snacks. I like to eat when I'm bored, or tired. Or when I see food.
