Mandy Update

Mandy loves to color. As soon as she finds a pencil or crayon, she makes a beeline for the nearest piece of paper. And she's getting better about not eating the drawing utensil, too!

She actually loves wearing these sunglasses. Which is really surprising, because I can hardly ever keep anything on her head.

I made these for our Relief society Birthday bash. I think they turned out rather well! Everyone seemed to like them.

Mandy has started experimenting with her voice. This is her "monster" impression.

I have cut my hair

I cut my hair off, and it is short. I think I like it, though. Everyone else has said it's cute, so either they like it as well or they're just being nice. :) You may decide for yourself.

Here I am attempting to get a picture of me and my beautiful babe. It's becoming increasingly difficult to catch her looking at the camera. And I'm really bad at centering people when taking self portraits.

Note the drool on that chin! Gotta love it.

I ADORE how Mandy crosses her ankles when she's sitting. So cute.

These are forever old, now, but for Jeff's birthday we went to Red Robin for his Birthday Burger ( they have a program where you get a free burger on your birthday; we're both signed up).

I splurged and got a freckled Lemonade. Usually we just get water, but it was Jeff's birthday so we figured, what they hey? Anyway, it was like a four dollar drink so I drank as much as I could. Which is probably weird, but oh well. Mandy enjoyed playing with the basket. Currently everything goes on her head, so the basket became a hat.

Lately everything gets turned into a phone. She loves holding things up to her ear. All I have to say is, Hello? Hello? and voila! it's a phone.

Of course, here she is actually playing with a toy phone.

My poor little girl has been having a tough time of it lately. She cut another tooth (making three on the bottom and four up top), and has been pretty congested. The snot is freely flowing, for sure! Add coughs, and on and off fevers, and restless nights; it seems like ever since her last round of immunizations, she has just been "off." She still remains an adorable, gorgeous little girl and I love her more and more every day.

I've been having a hard time capturing her grin on camera lately. Still, gotta love that face!

On the housing front:

Yucky Week

We've been sick this week. First Jeff, and then me. Mandy's been congested on and off ( I love being coated in slime. I keep forgetting to wear only white or gray;

stuff doesn't show up as much on it.)

I forgot my camera at my sister in law's house, so I have been pictureless! It's killing me, but I haven't worked up the energy to go and get it yet. I am feeling better, though. I've made it past achy body and the fevers and chills, and now into a head cold. Blah. But I get to go to work tomorrow and infect all the patients because that is what my bosses want. Who knows - if I cough and blow my nose enough, maybe they'll send me home. (Not likely)

Jeff and I put an offer in on a house. So now we're just waiting!
