Things I look forward to

I'd like to first say THANK YOU to my mom and dad for letting us cram ourselves into their home. We deeply appreciate it.
That being said, there are some things I look forward to having in my own house.
A closet.
A pantry.
A bathroom which is attached to my bedroom.
A living room.
A dresser.
My own kitchen.
A room which is Mandy's and not mine.
My winter clothes.
And again, because I dearly wish for one, a closet. It's amazing how awesome closets are. They really are fantastic creations. I love closets.
P.s. It is really annoying me that I cannot create spaces between my sentences.

Cedar City Trip - Day One

Okay, so as pitiful as this sounds, I've been attempting to get these pictures posted for the past week and a half. Most of them have been seen on facebook already, I know. So I decided to just take it day by day.
We made a stop in St. George to eat, at Larson's Frost Top. After we ate, we decided to explore an Antique shop we saw called Butterfield's Antique Mall. This place was crazy! I wish I had thought to take a picture. It was two stories of STUFF, crammed in everywhere. You had to walk sideways to even make it into most of the rooms. I loved it.

First thing we did in Cedar was find my uncle's quanset hut. We had ourselves a mini adventure getting our little nissan over the overgrowth, but we made it.

Then we mostly just wandered around Cedar and enjoyed the cuteness of the historical district. Mandy enjoyed the quick run through the fountain in front of one of the stores.

We also hit the local Renaissance fair. Complete with camel rides! They were rather sorry looking camels, though I will admit I haven't had too much experience with camels. We also took a couple runs down the slide (one of Mandy's favorite things to do, actually).

Rain on the way home from Walmart

So while we were in Walmart, a nice big thunderstorm hit, complete with lightning and pounding raindrops. The ride home was adventurous.

Oh, and Jeff had to yell, there at the end, because of the idiot in the truck who swerved out and sped past us. (gotta love people in trucks. I know I do.

(PS. excluding Will, who just bought a new truck)

Fourth of July time!

We had an awesome Fourth of July! It started at 7:30 in the morning, with a ward breakfast. (I unfortunately didn't have my camera for the first half of the day, so no cute pictures of Mandy. Who was onery, anyway, because we had to wake her up early.
We then moved on to a birthday celebration lunch for Jeff's grandma Gloria, which involved a yummy taco salad type lunch. So good!
At about four we headed over to my aunt's house for dinner and swimming. Where I discovered that it has been a REALLY long time since I swam, and I stink at it. :) But it was still fun. Mandy had a blast, and so did Jeff.

At about 8ish, the whole family went to the country club to watch the annual fireworks display. They always have little carnival type games set up, and a couple bounce houses. Mandy loved the bounce house! There were also a bunch of random characters walking around, so we took a couple pictures with them.

When the fireworks started, Mandy was amazed! But she didn't stay with me long - she wanted grandma! It was funny to watch her expressions change. At first she was rather nervous, but by halfway through, she was clapping and Oooing and Ahhing along with the crowd!
