People we got to see in Utah....
We were excited to go to Utah, one person we were so excited to see was baby Kaleb. My sister had Kaleb in October and I hadn't seen him yet (one flaw of living far from family). We were so excited to see our new nephew...
No, this is not him, this is two week old baby Cole Calderwood. I was hoping for a smaller baby like the one above.. but we were too late for this size.
While Justin and I were skiing, Lisa called and I told her we were in Utah. Randomly enough she was visiting friends that night a few blocks from the hotel we were staying in. It worked out to have them come and visit the hotel and catch up. Justin and I were just off the slopes and looked and smelled pretty bad. We felt fortunate they would stay longer than 5 minutes... It was fun to see them, and they're cute LITTLE baby.
This is baby Kaleb. Brayden was in love with him. A couple times he would come and pat my tummy and ask if there was a baby yet... I think I am just getting a little gut (thanks Brayden for pointing it out) Kaleb was a good baby and was so happy. I couldn't get over his hair. My kids don't ever get hair like that at that age. He hardly cried, and very happy. We loved to hear him laughing all the time.
THis is happy mom and dad. It was so fun to see them as a little family. I can't believe how cute it is to see your sibling as a parent. More fun than I had imagined.
This is my goo goo brother that can't wait to get married. They are adorable, but definately love struck.
The BIG 3-0
Brayden insisted that they were matching. This is one of the cutest pictures... but I am biased right? :)

Yes this hotty is 30 years old, can you believe it? I met him when we were 15,16 years old. He is my best friend and more. I feel so fortunate to have had such wonderful memories and fun times with him. On his birthday we had an amazing day hiking with the kids and checking out the tide pools. It was so much fun to see the sea anemonies, the star fish, and even come so close to the sea lions. We pulled out the binoculars and watched the dolphins and the boats. We couldn't have asked for better weather, we took so many pictures and had so much fun. Here are a few of our fun pictures. Happy birthday babe!!
LET IT SNOW!!
In Oregon, we have not seen the snow yet. It might have snowed for 1/2 an hour but nothing sticks and it isn't near as fun as Utah Snow. Brayden and Camden loved the snow, and never wanted to come in, regardless of how cold their hands got.
The real reason for coming out to Utah was for a dental conference. Justin went to classes Wednesday and Friday. On Thursday they gave everyone passes to Snowbird and shuttled us to and from the ski resort. Justins friend didn't want his pass and gave it to me. It was a fun Valentines day, ski for the day and have the kids with mom and dad. They also arranged for 4 nights in a Marriott. Dietitian conferences were not like this...

At grandma and grandpa's house we took the kids sledding around the yard. There really wasn't a hill, but they were just excited to be in the snow. There are times that I think we are going to miss the snow, but when I was scraping the snow and ice off of the car one morning that thought quickly disappeared.
Our trip to Utah
Cousins finally meet!! Brayden and Camden now have a cousin on the Killpack side. We are excited to have Kaleb join the fun. It is funny that my mom has 3 grandsons all born in October. Who would have thought that they would all look SOO different.
Our Entertainment
Brayden, Camden and I have so many fun things to keep us entertained. The weather has been amazing lately and so it has been fun being outside. At the gym, we went to the ground breaking ceremony for the new pool. We are so excited for the pool. Everytime we go to the gym we have to stop and watch the digging trucks. Brayden has now decided that we need to build a pool in the back yard. Camden wants to take a swim. This time we decided to let him, and we burried him in the pool.

A break from the house
One of our friends in the ward helped us cut trees all day and decided that we needed a break. While we finished up cleaning up paint and everything else, he loaded up the 3 wheelers and we took the kids on the dunes. It was our first time going, and I can't wait to go without the kids. We went in January as the sun was going down. It was getting a little cold for them, but it was awesome.
This is a good time to come for beginners.. it isn't as crowded. :)
Play Group on the BEACH in JAN
I am so excited to live here the rest of my life. This is so much fun to have playgroup at the beach with our friends. January was exceptionally beautiful with so many warm days. We spent Justins days off working at the house, but my days with the kids were spent soaking up the rays. We love digging in the sand, and being out with friends.
This is a group of us that aren't effected by school YET. We had fun on this beautiful day. We hiked in with picnic, pregnant women, and TONS of kids. It was a fun afternoon to enjoy, the ocean.
