100 Word Challenge for Grown Ups – Week#155

1212310211

It’s been a funny few days. I have gone into partnership with the Night Zookeeper for 100 Word Challenge and although it will be brilliant, I do feel as if my child is getting ready to leave home.

This morning I received the news that an elderly lady who had played a key part in my life about 30 years ago has died. She was 93 on Friday and had been poorly for a while so it wasn’t unexpected but it still brought me to a halt.

The prompt for this week is:

… as time passes…

Make sure you keep to the 100 words and do take it where ever you want to.

The link will close on 21st June

100 Word Challenge for Grown Ups – Week#127

100wcgu-7

Spring is definitely in the air here in the UK. I’m not sure if that means cold and snow elsewhere in the world. Something else I’m not sure about is whether anyone else has to move time like we do. Every 6 months or so we add or take away an hour. I have no idea why. Perhpas someone can tell me.

Anyway, we put our clocks forward this week-end so in keeping with life providing the prompt, it is

…time marches on…

Please make sure you pop a link back here so that other writers can find us. Do be generous with your visits to see what others have done with the prompt. We write for people to read!

If you are new, do have a read of What is 100WCGU?

The link will close at midnight on 6th April.

100 Word Challenge for Grown Ups – Week#62

The headache certainly brought out some great pieces! Thank you.

This week we are staying with normal life and the prompt is:

…it can’t be that time….

You have, as usual, 100 words to add to these 5 making 105 in total. Keep it suitable for PG certificate and please put a link somewhere back to this post so that others can find it and join us.

If you are befuddled by the whole thing, read ‘What is 100WCGU?’ which may help. If not please leave a comment below. The link will close on Monday 22nd Oct.

Tick, Tick, Tick!

This is a very quick post for the Gallery which has as it’s theme the letter ‘T’. This is in celebration of the wonderful Tara who consistently sets us these challenges.

My post is quick because I’m a bit poorly – exhaustion and conjunctivitis so feeling a bit bleugh! However, never one to let anything stand in the way of an entry for the Gallery here is TIME:

Time - Gallery

It is in keeping witgh the clocks going back at the week-end. I’ve seen posts about what you did with the hour. We got up early. No early even though it was an hour later (if you see what I mean!) We just had a longer relaxing day really.

So that’s my ‘T’. Pop over to Tara’s to see what other ideas folks have come up with!
