Camping in Zion

Hey everybody! Sorry, this is not Kirk! Mom (Bonnie) asked me if I could find some info about campgrounds. After a lot of research and some frustration, the Watchman campground seems to be the best choice for us. While it lacks some amenities, it is within walking distance of the visitors center and is right on the bus route. We can get shaded campsites right next to each other. There is running water but, no showers. There are some pretty good reviews on Trip Advisor. Most people's complaints are no showers and campsites are close together. I think it will be good to be close!! Let me know what you think. There are several sites right next to each other in loop C that have shade. I think we should reserved them soon! Let me know what you think,

Dan is having his surgery!

Well, as most of you know Dan has another hernia and he will need to get it fixed. So, he set the date for Feb 27th. We hope that surgery will be better this time and he won't have as many complications. Keep us in your prayers. Because the surgery is on the 27th we have moved Ellie's baby blessing to the 29th of March. Dan didn't think that he would be able to make it to church on March 1st. And I think that he should be there. ;)

Whats going on with Brad and Melissa

As most of you know I switched jobs from Entity to Red Olive Design www.redolivedesign.com. when things started getting really slow i put up my portfolio website www.bradhoen.com, I sent it to a bunch of design agencies. It really is a scary time with the economy and i lucked out finding a great job. They are an awesome group of guys. I feel really blessed! One of my friends from high school works there too, so we carpool there everyday (its in south Jordan).
Melissa runs everyday. This pic was in St. George. She ran a half marathon. I am way proud of her. She is now training for a full marathon in Ogden. The race is in May. Just today she ran 12 miles on her parents treadmill. Kill me now.

This is Princess Halle. I love this pic! She dresses up all the time. She must switch outfits at least 5 times a day. This is her favorite dress though. Look at that jewelry. I think she is wearing lip gloss too. She asks for it everyday.

Haisley is so dang cute. She is smiling all the time.

Farewell Red Badger! We recently sold our car. This was my first car. I admit i was a little sad to see it go. We have a lot of memories in this car: It got broken into twice: in CA and AZ, The trunk was wired shut cause it brok, For about a 6 month period the driverside door was jammed shut, So I had to either get in the passenger side door or pull a "dukes of hazard", then one glorious day it OPENED - A tear of happiness rolled down my cheek I will admit.

These are the sexy pics we posted on KSL to sell it. I had a million calls on it. Mainly because those rims are so dang appealing to a certain race. ha ha. I wish I knew how to speak spanish....The paint job is really nice too don't you think?.

New Family Blog

I like the idea of sending around emails so everyone can know what's going on in each others lives. But we can push it a little further. I like the blog because you can add pictures and make comments a lot easier. It is so easy to do. If you don't know how to do it, call me.
