My big 5 month old Girl!

We had a check up for Sienna today and The doctor gave up the heads up with starting her on fruits in the morning. Can you believe Im already at that point. She is growing too fast. She now weighs over 17 pounds and is 27 inches! She is a big girl! She is the happiest baby and loves to laugh at Nigel and I. Just the other day I laid down by her and was talking to Josh and she just burst out laughing. It was the cutest thing. She laughs when I tickle her toes and kiss her chubby cheeks. It's my favorite to make her laugh. She is rolling over like crazy and thinks its the coolest when she rolls from her back to her tummy. I just love this girl so much and just want her to stop growing. Here are some pictures  of the little chub! Enjoy!

Welcome to the world Sienna Catherine!

 She was born on May 17th around 3 in the afternoon and was a super quick delivery. Josh and I went in that morning to be induced which was so great and easy! Contractions were so mild I read a magazine throughout all of them till the last hour. When it was time for the epidural I felt a huge urge to push. within 10 to 15 minutes she was out. I could not believe how smooth and fast everything went. I had heard that baby number 2 was an easy delivery but this was super easy.

8.1 pounds
20 inches

We are so happy and so so tired with two! But we feel very lucky to welcome a baby girl to our family.
Nigel is loving his sister and runs to her when she cries offering a pacifier for her. He has been adapting pretty well but still has a hard time sharing mommy. Enjoy the pictures!

Aruba for Easter!

This Easter holiday we traveled to Aruba. We figured we deserved one last trip before the madness begins with new baby girls arrival coming up. We had the best time. The flight was only an hour and 20 minutes which made it nice for me. We stayed in an all inclusive hotel right on the beach. Our days were very relaxed and filled with swimming and playing in the sand. It doesn't get any better than that. Nigel loved the swimming pools and baby beach which was super shallow and had no waves which was perfect for Nigel. The Pina Coladas were a dream and the fact that you could have as many as you want made them taste even better. One day we rented a car and drove around the whole island and took Nigel to a butterfly farm. Nigel loved to point to each one and bark at em. They were the largest butterflies I have ever seen. We spent Josh's birthday in Aruba and I think it was one of his favorite birthdays. Nigel was so good the whole time and made sure to say hi to everyone on the beach. It was a trip to remember:)

Monserrate

So Josh is off in Thailand so we decided to fly his younger sister(Megan) out to visit us for part of the time Josh was gone. I wanted to show her something touristy while visiting Colombia so we took her to Monserrate. Its a lookout point of the whole city. In order to get on top of the mountain you have to take cable cars up which are a little scary, but once you reach the top you get an amazing view of Bogota. At the top they have a few fancy restaurants and a chapel. We strolled around for a bit and decided to head back down before the rains came. We had a blast! Enjoy the pictures!

We had a great time with Megan and wish she could have stayed longer! One more week and Josh will be home!

Asia, Peru!

Over the weekend we were invited by Josh's Brother to come and stay in a beach house they had rented in Asia, Peru. We could not pass up on the invite and had an absolute blast. Nigel loved playing on the beach and swimming in the kids pool. I didn't take too many pictures but caught a few of Nigel Dale so please enjoy...

I think Josh and I may need to buy him a scooter because he was always on his cousins scooter and loved getting pushed on the scooter.

The house was right on the beach which meant Nigel was on the beach constantly. I love this picture with him following the birds. Can you see the giant pelican back there? That thing was huge!!

Josh also ran a 5k with his brother, sister, and sister in law and he did a great job. Im so proud of him:) Overall it was a great weekend with family and we loved every minute of it! Sea World San Diego!

Over Christmas break we took Nigel to Sea World for the first time and bought year passes. I hope we can use them more than just this once. Hopefully we can make a trip out over the summer. The park was decorated with xmas decorations and looked so pretty.

Above is a picture of the family. You can see my baby bump a little bit. We were all freezing that afternoon and were so glad we brought sweaters.

Nigel loved the baby bounce house. He was so fun to watch because he was constantly smiling and tried to get everyones attention. I love this picture of him smiling at the baby girl:)
