July happenings.

This girl is better at the pogo stick than anyone I know.
Our baby girl is already SIX months!! She is so sweet + happy + quite possibly a picky eater like her big sis! She studies us and wants to be involved in what we're doing, squeals and loves playing with her toes. She always has ankles crossed and sucks on her bottom lip. I love seeing her happy face every morning. I love this age! We are all smitten by her!
It was a perfect night for swimming! Tucked Ivy in bed, got a sitter, and headed to the pool. It was much needed time together and so much fun! Love the sight of these kids in their goggles and flippers.

My happy boy. Feels like we're always on the go with therapy and extra curricular activities with the bigs.

1. Jump roping in the driveway is fun exercise..even though I can't get more than a few jumps. "Cinderella dressed in yellow went upstairs to kiss a fellow..." makes me think of my sisters.
2.  Max is fascinated by car washes
3. Bedhead babes
4. Hanging out at Catch Air..a favorite. haha!

A special visit..

 7.15.16
Ivy met two very special people yesterday. Grandma & Grandpa Hirschi.. the man who sealed us in the temple almost 12 years ago...now meeting our 4th babe. He is almost 93 years old and was thrilled when grandma let him drive so we could all go out to lunch before we left town, their treat!
We loved visiting with them and Josh and I were both teary talking with them. Grandma gave her mother of the year award to me to keep and I was so deeply touched. She claims she only got that award (while living in Tremonton, UT) because of Brent..true grandma fashion is giving someone else the credit. She is incredible! She wanted me to have it because I will care for Max throughout this life the way she cared for Brent. I just hope I can be half the mother she is!

I take way too many pictures, but when we're there for 3 weeks it's hard not to!
We got sneaky and booked a session with a photographer to surprise mom and dad.
Tauphus Park Zoo was a hit with the kids and the adults too.
Shopping with the girls. And after a quick trip to Target, Bry realizes what twins would be like!
Ivy's first little ponytail.
Meeting my soon to be sister in law was definitely something I was looking forward to. She is a beauty inside and out and I can't wait for her to be a Hirschi next month!

Lazy mornings..
One last 4 wheeler date before we hop in the car and head to Utah.
Goodbyes are so hard! We love you Idaho! Until next summer..

This photo of papa + his babies totally gets to me. Pure joy!

Happy birthday to me. Camdyn found this senior photo of mine in a closet somewhere, pulled it out and wrote this sweet message to decorate for my party. She is the best!
Mom reserved the Ammon city pool for just our family one evening.
Nothing cuter than babes on the table!
Game night..Mom laughing so hard is my favorite! ;) Balderdash brings out the crazy in us.
..And the girls (Cams + Ayz) dancing in their matching jammies.
A lunch date with Josh's mom for her birthday, before leaving.
Lex + Blaire (3 mos)   Brianne + Kammon (10 mos)   Me + Ivy (5 mos)

Our childhood was filled with soo many memories of playing house. Now we have our real life baby dolls! I just wished more than anything we could live close and raise them together.

The car was packed and ready to leave...only the kids and I didn't feel quite ready to go and not to mention Max slept horribly the night before so we were all tired. Josh caught a flight to go back to work. (Which is definitely bittersweet! I hate being away from him.)
When I told Brianne that we decided to stay another week..she made the 4 hour drive back to my parents house. We just can't get enough time together! Especially when it's once a year. Cheers to extended stays!

We went to the park to play on the carnival rides.
Cotton candy is a must. I will not forget this outing, mainly because Max helped himself to some lady's snow cone when I took my eyes off him for a moment. Those situations are still new and embarrassing to me and the lady was very rude. I offered to buy her a new snow cone, but she was still upset that a child would get into her food. Something that Max continues to teach me is to give others the benefit of the doubt. Don't just assume my child has bad manners and I won't assume you're just plain mean. Maybe she was just having a bad day. And I felt badly it even happened.
I tried to not let it ruin the rest of my day.
Papa & Nana with all 8 of their grandkids! These kids are beyond lucky to have them as grandparents.
