We were pleased to join the international space community in France for the International Space Summit, where ispace Founder & CEO Takeshi Hakamada joined a panel discussion on the opportunities ahead for lunar exploration. As Europe looks toward an increasingly ambitious role in the lunar economy, ispace is proud to contribute through our European headquarters in Luxembourg and the capabilities we are developing for future lunar surface missions. Hakamada-san, Julien Lamamy, CEO of ispace-EUROPE, and Charlotte Nassey, Senior Government Affairs and Policy Lead, also had the opportunity to meet with Luxembourg Prime Minister Luc Frieden and discuss the growing role of Luxembourg and Europe in lunar exploration. 🇹🇭 ispace is hosting a workshop in Thailand! On September 12, Watcharawut Masawat, Business Specialist at ispace, will host a "Lunar Mission Workshop" for 100 selected students in Thailand. 🌌 ispace is heading to France for the International Space Summit! On September 9–10, Takeshi Hakamada, Founder & CEO of ispace, will join leaders from across the global space sector at the International Space Summit in France. Hakamada-san will take part in Panel # 7.3: Lunar Exploration, as part of a wider discussion exploring space science, technology and exploration from an international perspective. As activity around the Moon accelerates, international collaboration will be essential to building a sustainable lunar ecosystem. 🌙 Supporting Saudi Arabia’s ambitions for the Moon. This week at LEAP 2026 in Riyadh, Atsushi Saiki, Business Fellow at ispace, took to the stage to explore how ispace can support Saudi Arabia’s growing ambitions in lunar exploration. During his keynote, “ispace – Supporting Saudi Arabian Exploration of the Moon,” Atsushi shared how ispace’s global capabilities and growing portfolio of lunar exploration services can support scientific, institutional and commercial missions, while helping expand access to the Moon. He also highlighted the continued development of ispace Saudi Arabia and our commitment to building long-term partnerships within the Kingdom as its space ecosystem continues to grow. With teams and capabilities spanning Japan, Europe, the United States, and Saudi Arabia, collaboration across borders remains central to our vision for a thriving cislunar economy. Tomorrow, Julien Lamamy, CEO of ispace-EUROPE, will join KFUPM Research Day 2026 in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, for a keynote on the journey from academic research and entrepreneurship to commercial lunar exploration. Drawing on ispace’s experience, Julien will discuss how research, innovation and international collaboration can turn ambitious ideas into real missions to the Moon and help shape the technologies and capabilities needed for the next era of lunar exploration.

🌕🎓🚀 Our Lunar Academy Satellite program provides flexible opportunities for students to engage with the people and ideas shaping the future of the space industry. We were pleased to welcome Space Youth Connect, a student-led group organized by students from The University of Tokyo, to our Earth Base office in Tokyo. Around 20 university students from Japan and South Korea joined the session, which included an introduction to ispace and our missions, a Q&A session, and an office tour. With participants studying a wide range of fields—from space and engineering to AI and software—the visit sparked lively discussions about the space industry and the evolving role of commercial space companies. ispace will continue connecting with students around the world through our educational programs such as Lunar Academy Satellite, helping inspire the next generation of people who will contribute to the growing space ecosystem. 🌎 #ispace #LunarAcademy #LunarAcademySatellite

Another important step towards the Moon for ispace-EUROPE and MAGPIE. 🌙 Yesterday in Copenhagen, our European team joined the European Space Agency - ESA and partners from across the MAGPIE consortium to mark the mission agreement with an official signing ceremony. Led by ispace-EUROPE as the prime contractor to ESA, MAGPIE represents an important step in building Europe’s lunar exploration capability and will fly aboard ispace inc.’s Mission 4 ULTRA lander - bringing together European scientific expertise with ispace’s global lunar transportation and exploration capabilities. Scheduled to launch in 2029, ispace inc.'s Mission 4 lander will implement high precision landing under a grant awarded from Japan's Space Strategy Fund Program administered by the Japanese Aerospace Exploration (JAXA), demonstrating the role international collaboration can play in enabling the next generation of lunar exploration.
