My best friend and I write a book, a real hard cover book, each year. For the first one we each, every other day picked a quote and then said what it meant to us. It’s always amazing to read it when I finally have it in my hands. Sometimes I am impressed by what we have said and sometimes its just a bit of a giggle. This year, we seem to have almost run out of quotes that grab our attention so we copped out and are doing letters of the alphabet. Today the letter was A and he chose the word Action. These are the thoughts I had.

 Isn’t it time for all of us to take action? Most of us sit around and hope that someone, anyone other than us, does something about things like, the economy, immigration, abortion, taxes and on and on. We all care but 99% of us only care enough to talk about these things, not to actually try to find a solution. Action is needed if any of these important things are ever going to be solved. It’s so much easier to just sit in our chair in front of our tv moaning and groaning than to get up off of our fat butts and get out and … Take Action!

It’s always the most exiting to made it to the end of an important contest. I learn so much from each one I do and I’m sure I will do even better next time. Part of the fun is just seeing all the creativity from the other contestants.

DESCRIPTION:
For me, Minimalism is a whisper in a world that likes to shout. Finally a style where less is more! Calvin Klein is known for his sleek, streamlined apparel and this is shown with my dress by PM. The beauty of the dress is by eliminating all nonessentials and showing a refinement of form. The simple beauty of the earrings by Caroline and the soft draping of the necklace by Beloved add a touch of elegance. The only crown that would be worn by a Minimalist is a fresh white flower from Boom. Sometime a whisper is all you need.

DESCRIPTION
The heat is on! My figure hugging dress is made by Lybra and it starts the fire. Washing the shoulder with red hot heat is make up by Nuuna. Going to another realm is the mask of net and pearls by Zibska. Topping off the flames is the hat by Baoba. If you look closely you will see behind the mask to the smolder within. The passion to light a fire burns in me hoping to pass that light to you.
