The challenge was as hard as it sounds. But to be better we need to be challenged. Should I admit that for this challenge and the fourth, I did not buy anything. When I see interesting things, when I am out and about, I buy them. Most I never wear. But sometimes, parts of each outfit come together to make something that I can love.

♦ Inspiration
Kaciee hopes to inspire in her dramatic, over-the-edge outfit. Will it challenge you to think out of the box and try new and different ways to stand out? Designers like JeanPaul Gaultier and Alexander McQueen stand out when youthink of the L’Enfant Terrible style. They could be defiant,nonconformist, and controversial.Kaciee wears a combination of Eshi’s pink and blue, Zip It,to catch your eye with color. She has turned the belt of theBlue Zip It outfit around so as not to conflict with her blackand white Carousel skirt from Likka House. The striped sleeves and socks are also from Likka. Her fingerless gloves are from Izzie’s. Grounding her outfit are boots fromMaitreya Gold – Laud. Nestled in her curls from L+N, Gamegirl, is a color coordinated hat from Baoba, SpringBreeze Rare. She hopes you will understand her leap into non-conformity.

To add to the difficulty we had to wear at least three colors and black and white counted as one.

I worked very hard on this outfit and I was fortunate to again be picked in  Marcus Lefevre’s Top Five!

The challenge was to choose an animal to be inspired by, any animal really, but the fancier the better.

Kaciee glides onto the runway looking for all the world like her favorite fish, a fantail orange and black fancy goldfish. Her figure flattering gown from SAS, Halloween Blarange hugs her curves and then cascades into an orange foam of color. Adding pieces for her tail, opps, skirt are pieces from Desir, Autumn. The neck and shoulder pieces are from Eshi Otawara, Kegawa Cheeta. Her gloves perfectly match the colors of her outfit and they are from Delizo. Her necklace looking a bit like scales is from Aisling, Mon Bel Amour. Her earrings are also from Eshi. Her spiked hair with colors to match her fish, is from LCKY, Addison. Peeking out from her skirt are shoes from Eva Mules from the Blacklace Gown. Her face glows with Shadows from Nuuna, Kati, Lizi and Tiia. Her lipstick is from Essences, Endless Night.

With every challenge that we do, I’m sure we all put all our efforts into making something that we can be proud of. With almost every challenge that I do, I feel that I have done my best and usually I am totally in love with the final outfit. Usually, in a contest, we do not find out, if the judges think we have created something that they can love too. For this contest, I was so in love with my outfit. I loved the colors and I loved all the pieces I had found to make the final outfit. I was more than thrilled when Marcus told us that the top five, in his opinion, would get an extra fifty points, and I was one of the five! Thank you Marcus for making this journey extra special.

With her trademark suits, oversized cuffs, little black dresses and by borrowing elements of men’s wear, fashion designer Coco Chanel created timeless designs. Coco Chanel was born in August 1883. Her creations and ideas are still stylish today. Designer Karl Lagerfeld stepped in more than a decade after her death to continue her legacy.

Kaciee has taken some of her signature clothes and put them together in this stylish very Channel look. She wears a wide leg cropped trouser from Coco paired with a slimming jacket with her signature bow at the neckline from another outfit from Coco. Kaciee added the wider cuffs from the Bow-shirt piece

also from Coco. An outfit would not be Channel if it did not have pearls. Kaciee had the pearls from the mini bag sewn into the bow at her neck to complete the look. Chanel said once, “Luxury must be comfortable, otherwise it is not luxury.” With a tip of her Fedora Kaciee rocks the runway in a very stylish and comfortable Chanel way.
