Hoping to Adopt

We want to remind all of you, our family and friends, and those we may have never met before that we are hoping to adopt. Adoption has been such a blessing in our life. We love everything about it and especially the blessings that have come from it. Please keep our family in your prayers and please spread the word that we are hoping to adopt. Our case worker has told us that getting the word out is the best thing to do. We have set up this blog so birth families can get to know us better through the tabs along the top and the Just for Birth Parents section on the right. We are excited to hopefully welcome another member in our family. Thank you for your support and love to our family.

Hello Cupcakes!!!

For Christmas, Natalie gave me the book "Hello Cupcake."  It teaches you how to make really cool cupcakes.  We decided we were going to make a date night out of it.  We had a really fun time.  We took them to our little cousin Ethan's baptism.  Thank you Natalie!

Welcoming the New Year!

We stayed in this year for New Years, and celebrated New York time so the kids could go to bed at a decent hour.

Happy New Year!!!

St. George Trip with Karson's Family

We went to St. George with Karson's family for a week after Christmas. The purpose of the week...SCRAPBOOKING! Almost the entire family scrapbooked, even the guys. We got a lot done and it was so much fun to hang out with family.

The whole gang!

Taking a break at the pool with our nieces and nephew Averee, Hunter and Kenady

Kash and Averee had fun playing house. Kash was the dad and Averee was the baby!

Averee Singing

Check out this video. We taught our niece Averee the Christmas Tree song that we teach our nursery kids in the ward. She's getting pretty good at it.

So You Think You Can Dance

Check out Karson and his nephew Hunter's dance moves! Who knew that Hunter had such awesome grooves? We were getting a little restless at the St. George house and needed a break from scrapbooking.

Weekend with Betsy's Family

For Christmas, Betsy's parents surprised our family with a little weekend getaway.  On Saturday morning we went over to their house and mom made a big breakfast for us.  Yum! Then we went to see Marley and Me.  It was good but definitely a tear jerker.  Then we went up to Salt Lake and checked in to Little America hotel.  Mom, Dad, and Jared a room and we had one.  The rooms were connecting.  We went to a yummy dinner at the steakhouse and then faced the cold to go see the temple lights.  They were gorgeous!  We haven't been there in a while so it was fun.  On Sunday morning we went to the Christmas Tabernacle Broadcast.  Loved it!  The best part was the brunch at Little America after.  So we had a weekend of good food, good fun, and good family.  Thanks mom and dad!
