Hoping to Adopt

We want to remind all of you, our family and friends, and those we may have never met before that we are hoping to adopt. Adoption has been such a blessing in our life. We love everything about it and especially the blessings that have come from it. Please keep our family in your prayers and please spread the word that we are hoping to adopt. Our case worker has told us that getting the word out is the best thing to do. We have set up this blog so birth families can get to know us better through the tabs along the top and the Just for Birth Parents section on the right. We are excited to hopefully welcome another member in our family. Thank you for your support and love to our family.

A day at the Beach!

Karson's sister Erin and his parents met us in California when we were down with our Youth Team.  We took a break and went to the Newport beach.

Our niece Averee isn't even two and she still wanted to be buried.  She wants to be like her brother!

California Open Competition

We took our youth ballroom dance team to Irvine, California to compete at the California Open.  They did so good.  We are excited for the National Competition coming up and think this was great practice for them.

Let's just say that Karson and our nephew Hunter were doing a little more than eating at the Claim Jumper.  Good entertainment!

Youth Dance Team Party!

We had the youth ballroom dance team that we coach come over to our house for a little party. It wasn't all party though,  Karson filmed them doing their routines at practice that day.  We watched them all together and figured out the these that could be improved for the upcoming National Championships.  We also had a Fondue Party.  We had chocolate, caramel, pink chocolate, and cheese fondue.  The youth team sure cleaned it right up!

Relief Society Sleep Over!!!

Yes...we had a Relief Society Sleep Over!  I just recently got released from serving in the nursery after being there for a year and a half so it was great for me to get to the women in ward better.  I was asked to host the sleep over at my house.  I didn't of any of the planning, I just provided the house.  We had a progressive dinner and then met back at my house for dessert, games, and visiting.  The next morning we cleaned the church and came back to my house for breakfast.  It was a good time!!!

Draper Temple Open House

We got to go to the Draper Temple Open House.  It was a great time.  Karson's parents and our friend Cindy and her cute son JJ came with us.  The temple is absolutely gorgeous and it was fun because Draper is where Karson grew up.  Draper is really growing.  I even heard a rumor that they are opening an In-and-Out Burger there.
