Hoping to Adopt

We want to remind all of you, our family and friends, and those we may have never met before that we are hoping to adopt. Adoption has been such a blessing in our life. We love everything about it and especially the blessings that have come from it. Please keep our family in your prayers and please spread the word that we are hoping to adopt. Our case worker has told us that getting the word out is the best thing to do. We have set up this blog so birth families can get to know us better through the tabs along the top and the Just for Birth Parents section on the right. We are excited to hopefully welcome another member in our family. Thank you for your support and love to our family.

Swan Lake

My friend Jennifer and I took these cute girls to see Swan Lake at BYU.  The girls loved it.  They got to wear their princess dresses and meet the dancers before the show.

Mission Reunion

Karson served his mission in Panama from 2000-2002.  We were able to meet up with a woman he knew on his mission who was visiting the United States from Panama.  She was so sweet.  It was really fun for me to hear from her what an awesome missionary he was.  She said that he was the most fun missionary (no surprise) but he was very strict with obeying the rules and getting things done.  This is one of my favorite qualities about him.  I also always love to hear him speak spanish.

I love this mission picture from a small island he served on.

Here we are with Lisetta

Looks like Izzy is having a great time!

Baby Leo

We got to meet our little nephew Leo in January.  He is such a sweet baby and Brandon and Amanda sure do make a cute baby!  We love him.

Funny story:  We posted this picture to facebook and got lots of congratulatory comments.  People thought we had been able to adopt another baby.  They missed the "meeting our new nephew part." ha ha! We are glad to know that so many people care about us and are looking our for us though.  :)

Izzy and Beckham couldn't go because they were a little sick.  They took care of these baby dolls at home.  Hopefully they will get to be big brother and sister to real baby someday.  :)

Snow!

We had good snow this year and the kids loved sledding.  We have a great little area in our neighborhood that has the perfect hills for little kids.  One day we also went to Rock Canyon park that has some pretty intense hills.  So fun!

I had to laugh because Averee is doing all of the hard work and then being the sled in the next picture.

Smoothie Makers

Karson's first job was at "Zuka Juice"  (The old name for Jamba Juice)  He has some pretty mad skills when it comes to making his fruit smoothies.  The kids love helping him.  He adds all sorts of secret ingredients.....(carrots, spinach, zuchini, avacado, etc.)  That's a sneaky way to get the kids to eat their veggies!
