Hoping to Adopt
We want to remind all of you, our family and friends, and those we may have never met before that we are hoping to adopt. Adoption has been such a blessing in our life. We love everything about it and especially the blessings that have come from it. Please keep our family in your prayers and please spread the word that we are hoping to adopt. Our case worker has told us that getting the word out is the best thing to do. We have set up this blog so birth families can get to know us better through the tabs along the top and the Just for Birth Parents section on the right. We are excited to hopefully welcome another member in our family. Thank you for your support and love to our family.

Tarzan...The Musical
My friend/ sister "Boo" was Jane in Tarzan at the AF Community Theater. She was incredible and the production was so well done. We actually saw Tarzan on broadway during it's short stint. This production was right up there in comparison.

Izzy Dance Class
Parents go to come in an observe on Izzy's last day of dance class. I was so proud of her. Last year on parent observation day she was nervous and sat on my lap the whole time and did not dance at all. This year she was so brave and danced and performed the whole time. She did not even act nervous once.

Hogle Zoo
After things slowed down a little in our scheduled after Nationals, we took a fun family day trip to the zoo. Izzy had talked about the previous years visit to the zoo pretty much everyday throughout the past year, so we figured she would like to go again. The kids filled their jar of fuzzies by doing their household "contributions" to earn this trip to the zoo.

Izzy's Art Class
Izzy and I took a really fun art class at the Rec Center for 6 weeks. She made clay beads, a mobile, stained glass, clay pots, did glazing, and made a mask. It was cute to see how meticulous and creative she was about her projects, and it was great Mommy daughter bonding time.
