Hoping to Adopt

We want to remind all of you, our family and friends, and those we may have never met before that we are hoping to adopt. Adoption has been such a blessing in our life. We love everything about it and especially the blessings that have come from it. Please keep our family in your prayers and please spread the word that we are hoping to adopt. Our case worker has told us that getting the word out is the best thing to do. We have set up this blog so birth families can get to know us better through the tabs along the top and the Just for Birth Parents section on the right. We are excited to hopefully welcome another member in our family. Thank you for your support and love to our family.

Movie in the Park

We made a summer activity of going to the movies in the park that Springville city put on each week. There is just something so fun about watching a movie under the stars on a big screen all snuggled up with your family. We will definitely be doing this every year now!

Snowbird 2014

Oh how we love our snowbird week every summer. It is so fun now that our kids are remembering this and looking forward to the tradition each year. Here are some of the fun things we did this year....pretty much the same as every other year and that is why we love it so much!

Summer Pony Ride

The Money Family (we have taught 4 of their children) invited us over to their house so our kids could ride their adorable pony. They are so generous and their house was so fun. They even had chickens, cars, and the cutest puppies ever! Thanks for a fun night.

Izzy was born on Monday, August 17, 2009 in Boise, Idaho. She weighed 2 pounds 5 ounces and was 13 and 3/4 inches long. She was born three months early and was originally due on November 8th. When we heard the news, we dropped everything here in Provo and drove to Boise to meet our little daughter. We also met her amazing birth parents.

She has been a fighter since birth. There were many health challenges that came with being born at 28 weeks. Izzy went through numerous ups and downs while she was in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit for 2 months. She fought hard and after all that she went through was able to come home. We know that her determined attitude she showed while in the hospital will stay with her all of her life.

Izzy came home on October 8, 2009. We are so blessed and lucky to be her parents through the miracle of adoption. We love her so much and she has brought so much joy to our lives. She continues to be healthy and is growing like a weed.
