Swim Team

Instead of swim lessons, we had Livi and Spencer do swim team.  There is a pool about 10 minutes away from us that allowed us to join, even though we don’t live in their neighborhood/town.  It has been really great for them!

Love my little fish.  It has been so fun to watch them get better and progress.  The program lasted 6 weeks and ends tomorrow.  We will be doing it again next year.  They had fun, got some ribbons and met some great friends.

4th of July

We had a great 4th of July!

Being 6 months along (and in my 7th month of pregnancy), I wasn't sure how the heat + me would do.  It was an exhausting, but fun day!

We started off the morning by going to the Westlake Parade.  Not much to report here, but the kids were very happy with the amount of candy they got ;)  We went around 10:15 and sat at the end.  By the time we got there, the parade hadn't reached the end, so we got comfy.  It was nice and sweet and to the point. 

After the parade, we made a stop at Subway.  YUMMM!  What a way to celebrate.  Good food.  We got home and I started on the beans.  These babies take a few hours, so I had to hurry. 

We headed over to Wallace Lake.  It was pretty nice.  There was a good size beach and paddle boats for rent.
