Here is a little about Sharon...

Hi!  I’m Sharon Butler a wife and busy Mum to my 3 wonderful kids – Alexander 10, Nicholas 8 and Cassandra 5.  I live in Essex in the UK and I started scrapbooking a year after my eldest son was born, mainly due to my Mum who is very “craft” orientated taking up scrapbooking.  I just had to get on the band wagon too after seeing all her amazing creations and now have album after album full of layouts.  My children tend to be my main focus/inspiration, with the odd few of the hubby and family and friends.  Lee, my husband is a keen photographer, so I’m never short of a photo or two to scrap.  My biggest issues is probably narrowing down which ones to actually scrap!  I wouldn’t say I have a “style” of sorts, but my favourite embellishments have to be flowers and buttons with a bit of bling thrown in for good measure.

Introducing our JUNE GDT

Hello and Happy Wednesday! It's Michele here today and I would love to introduce to you our Guest Designer for the month of JUNE...
JESSICA LAUREANO From... Scrapping 2 Boys...  although... I think it's almost THREE boys.  :)

My name is Jessica and I have been scrapbooking for 7 years now. It all started when I was looking for a new hobby. After some failed attempts at knitting I gave scrapbooking a try, (thinking that it would be fairly inexpensive, hey paper cost less then a $1 a sheet right). At that time I only had my new puppy to make layouts of. Now my husband and I are expecting our 3rd boy, so there are lots of pictures to choose from now. Scrapping started as an occasional hobby, but has evolved to a necessary activity for me to relax, unwind, and to remember how much I love my boys while they are driving me crazy.

Thursday's Thoughts & Can You See The Difference??

Guess what!! First off, it's Thursday! CRAZY! Where has the week gone? Not to mention the mth of August flyin' us by! So, we've been chatting and we'd like to start having a monthly Guest DT here at Lasting Memories!! As you know, each month we're now offering up a grand prize - the more you play, the more chances to win - and we'd like to add the GDT to that!
