About us
The mission of eMobilis is to create opportunities for local talent by training them on Mobile and Wireless Cellular Technologies. Our goal is to ensure that local talent is available and trained in order to meet the growing opportunities in the Mobile Industry in Africa. We train students in Mobile Content Development , and at the end of the training, the students are able to sell their mobile content throughout Africa using our aggregator contracts, The students learn how to create games ,tools, screen-savers, themes, mobile inventory Management Systems, mobile car tracking systems, Distributed Gaming Applications, Mobile Advertising tools, Mobile Reservation Systems, Business Utilities and sell them after just 3 months of training. Our former students continue to earn from the sale of their mobile content months after they leave the institution. We believe that without a conscious effort to develop and champion Mobile-phone based applications, the potential of Mobile Technology to reduce poverty and stimulate economic growth will at best be delayed, and at worst never fully realized.Mobile application development is a growth industry for aspiring programmers and business people. It is also a way to stimulate economic growth through better information flows and increased access to information for economic and social purposes.

eMobilis, alongside other ICDL Certification Accredited Training Centers (ATCs), participated in the ICDL ATC Marketing & Growth Mini Forum held at the RCMRD- Regional Centre for Mapping of Resources for Development. The forum brought together 20 institutions to collaboratively reflect on the growth, relevance, and long-term sustainability of ICDL delivery in Kenya, with a strong focus on marketing, learner progression and value-driven training. Key insights & takeaways: • Front-office teams play a critical role as the first line of marketing • Strong infrastructure matters—stable learning platforms and quality delivery are non-negotiable • Continuous marketing and adequate lesson hours are essential for meaningful learning • Dollar exchange rate fluctuations affect ICDL pricing, calling for adaptive strategies • Joint marketing through ICDL Kenya can strengthen visibility and impact • ATCs encouraged to host open days to engage learners and stakeholders • Value addition beyond certification, including life skills, enhances learner outcomes • Clear progression pathways beyond ICDL, including credit transfer considerations at university level • Strategic focus on high schools as a key talent pipeline Notably, eMobilis Mobile Technology Institute was repeatedly highlighted by speakers as an industry leader, setting the benchmark in training delivery, partnerships, and market impact. #ICDL #DigitalSkills #SkillsDevelopment #EducationInKenya #Partnerships #eMobilis #RCMRD
