Here I created a Vacation album using a Suitcase die with K & Company's BW Around the World Collection. This collection is so adorable and I loved all the design papers. Karla's trims, and embellishments were perfect for my album.

IAR Love Take Out Tin Box & Butterfly Mini

I found this adorable tin take out box at Michaels and thought how adorable it would be to alter and add a mini book inside. The tin was originally white and I alcohol inked it using Adirondack's Latte alcohol ink. I just adore the square plastic on the and back of the tin. I loving all of the Lost & Found collections by My Minds Eye and knew the Union Square collection was perfect for this project. I'm loving the color combination of black, red, beige, and brown. I usually work with lighter colors, but I'm really loving these colors together. This is what's great about crafting, there's so many different colors and styles to choose from. I usually don't like to limit myself to one style. Besides, there's so much out there that I love and that would be hard to do. I created a butterfly mini to go inside the tin using the Sizzix Butterfly & Dragonfly die and it fit perfectly. Listed below are I Am Roses flowers I incorporated on my project.

TPBP Picture Stand and Fabric Envelope

I just love creating with AccuCut's clear sheets. Here I created a picture stand with My Minds Eye Lost & Found Madison Avenue collection and loved how it coordinated perfect with TPBP trims. I really enjoyed created a fabric envelope with Bev's muslin bags and really loved how it turned out. Its perfect to add a gift card or any small favor. Click here for my video.

Cupcake Stand and Mini

I LOVE cupcakes! My daughter Natalie always love to bake cupcakes and I of course love to eat them. heehee I always love to give my girls their own special cupcake/cake along with their birthday cake on their birthday. It just makes them feel extra special to have one just for them. The Quic Kutz Cupcake Stand was just perfect for me to place their cupcake on. Then I thought, what would they do with the stand after they eat the cupcake? I decided to create a cupcake mini using the Jenni Bowlin Round Tart Tin that I received as a gift from RuthAnn and created a tiny mini book with the Sizzix Circle #2 die and K & Company's Watercolor Bouquet Collection. I adhered an I Am Roses R50 flower on top of the circle mini and placed it in the tart tin. I loved how the flower looks like whip cream and the mini is hidden underneath. Now my girls have pictures of their special day and a cupcake that will last them forever.

Now on to what I created…

It's been awhile since I've created a clear mini album. Acrylic and Clear Plastic Sheets are one of my favorite materials to create with. Here I created a circle mini album using clear plastic sheets from AccuCut Craft, Sizzix Circle #3 die, Tim Holtz M & S Mini Bird & Cage Set and Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Circles Small die. I just love Prima's Sweet Fairy collection and knew it was perfect for this mini. On the cover I incorporated the gorgeous new spray SP1 - 151, a beautiful pink rose R60-0, my favorite small white flowers S10 -15, and a small white Gardenia curly petal GP2-1 for the bird's feather. I also added a beautiful trim with pearls from a gift I received from Karla. On the binding ring I added some gorgeous creme tulle that I just love from a gift I received from Brandy and a beautiful Prima bling charm. I just love creating mini albums.

Butterfly Custom Die

HI Everyone,

I'm so excited to share with you another custom die I designed with AccuCut Craft Custom Shape Pros. I had taken a picture several years ago at the Butterfly Habitat at Marine World of a butterfly sitting on a green leaf. I just love the way a butterfly looks from the side. Though I've taken that picture with my 35mm Canon camera and not sure where I placed my photo, I still have that image in my head. That is when I thought, this would be perfect to create that butterfly into a custom die. Here I used two collections from Creative Imaginations Devotion and K & Company SW Botanical Collection. Both collections had gorgeous butterflies on the design papers. I really pleased how it turned and just love looking at my butterfly album as it sits on my shelf. Thank you again Custom Shape Pros for helping me create that image of into reality.

Suitcase Bag and Mini

This was so fun to make and super addicting. After you make one, you want to create another one. I wanted to create one with my Sizzix XL Suitcase Bag die and had to make this for Rina to add to the Bento Box project I created for her using Creative Imaginations Devotion collection. My favorite part was the lace pocket with the dresses and shoes. You can't have a suitcase without clothes in it.

IAR Sewing Kit Bento Box

I wanted to create a special gift for Rina. Rina had celebrated her birthday and I know how much she loves Musubi. I thought how fun would it be to create a sewing kit in a Bento Box and have her favorite Musubi as the pin cushion. I just love the Devotion collection by Creative Imaginations and it was perfect for this project for her. I used Tim Holtz's Configurations box and created my own Bento Box to fit all the embellishments inside. I painted the boxes with one of her favorite Metallic Sequin Black acrylic paint from FolkArt and then adhered the design papers. I went to my LSS Green Tangerines and found some wonderful Asian embellishments to add to her box. I just love the Japanese chopsticks. You can't have a Bento Box without chopsticks!!! heehee The adorable toothpicks which I had also found at GT was perfect to add to the pin cushion as well. The IAmRoses flowers that I incorporated were so beautiful and were perfect for Rina's box. Happy Birthday Rina!

Family gatherings are one of my favorites when it comes to getting together with my family. We all love to be in the kitchen and watch my mom cook all our favorite dishes and desserts. AccuCut's A7 Apron Invitation (NC579CJ) is a perfect die to create many fun projects to give to those who love to cook or bake. Three fun gifts to give to the hostess of the party. DCWV's The Four Seasons Stack was a perfect collection for these projects.

Here you can create a card and add a special message to the recipe card or create an invitation for that perfect party.
