Family Pictures 2011

When my parents came out my dad did some family pictures for us. We defiantly needed some new ones! We got a couple of cute ones. It is so hard now trying to get family pictures because everyone is looking in different directions!

I am so grateful for my family!! We are really liking living in a new area it is always fun to discover new things! It is beautiful out here and we have really enjoyed it so far. It is hard to start all over and make new friends especially when you don't know anyone. Thanks goodness for the church or we would not know anybody! We have made some really good friends from our ward.

This picture did not turn out how we planned but I thought Corbin was so funny as he walked away with his head down!

All about Braxton at 5 yrs old.

I can't believe how fast this little guy is growing!! He is already 5 and time has flown by it seems like not that long ago he was our little baby! He has been so fun to have in our lives we are grateful for this little man!

It was hard to decide what we wanted to do with this little guy this year for school. We decided we wanted to wait to send him to Kindergarten. We decided it was probably best to make him the oldest instead of the youngest. He would of been fine in Kindergarten right now but I worry about it in the long run. Then we were debating if we wanted to send him to preschool again but it was so expensive out here I did not want to pay for him to go learn the same things over again. So for our final decision we decided to keep home this year and do home school. It is going pretty good so far he is picking up on his words pretty fast we are trying to teach him to read. I was surprised how fast he is learning them. He also does really well with his math and likes it for now anyway.

Braxton is starting to listen so much better then he used to. It is nice when they will do want you ask him to (most of the time). When he was 4 he would drive me crazy a lot of the time but there has been such a improvement from 4 to 5 it is awesome! Braxton is a little mini version of Kevin they are so similar in so many ways. He is a serious little man and I have been trying to teach him it is okay to joke around every now and then, Lindy says Kevin was the same way.

Braxton is defiantly a perfectionist, he can get so frustrated when things do turn out how he thought it should. I have been trying to teach him to relax a bit about things. I would hate for him to go to school and then start pouting because the marker is not working right.

Braxton and Corbin are starting to play together a lot better. It is nice when they can just sit and play and they are not wanting me to entertain them the whole time! He is pretty nice to Corbin most of the time and loves trying to make him laugh. He is still a very loud child but he is a happy little guy. Braxton can also be very sweet he tries to go out of the way to make me happy and to give hugs and kisses.

Braxton favorite shows are Scooby doo and Super Why.

His new favorite interest are Starwars, and dinosaurs.

He loves to try to search the backyard for frogs we find them there all the time.

Braxton is a little social bug he will talk to anyone where ever we are, he loves to make new friends. His best friends right now is Carter Wendling they play together really well and they have a lot of fun.

Braxton favorite food is Spaghetti and Pizza.

He loves to play the Ipod we have to restrict him on that.

Braxton is still my little shadow and loves to help me around the house. He cleans up very well and will sometimes do it with out me asking. It is so nice when I come out of Corbin's room and all the toys are picked up. Sometime he wants to help a little too much and that can be hard too.

Braxton would talk off anyone's ear that will listen to him. He just told me his favorite vacation spot is going to Utah. His favorite thing to do here in Oregon is play at the beach. Braxton is such a cute little guy and we love him!

Corbin

I wanted to talk about my cute boys and what they are up to. Corbin is 2 yrs old and at a fun age (most of the time). This little guy can be so quick to laugh smile and giggle. He can also be very quick to throw a tantrum if this guy is tired then you better put him down or deal with the consequences because he turns into a monster!

This little guy is a daredevil! He loves to climb up on everything and then try to jump off. It is so hard to keep him from climbing I wish the boy had a little fear in him I know one of these days he is going to break something! Corbin's favorite thing to do is follow Braxton around I think that is why he is so daring he is always trying to keep up with Braxton. But this little guy loves his big brother.

Look at the cute little mischievous face! This little guy likes to get into everything and his new obsession is the toilet so let say I have been catching him in the bathroom a lot lately getting into trouble. He also loves to mess with the DVD/ VCR player and put stuff in it all the time I am shocked that thing still works! Corbin has the cutest facial expressions he has been pulling this surprised face that I need to catch on camera but have not yet but every time he does it we all just bust up laughing!! He also has the best pouty lip before he ever cries his lip sticks way out and then a about 10 sec. later the tears begin.

The little man is starting to talk pretty good. He can say a lot of things not that it is all understandable but he is a very good repeater and will copy a lot of things that we say and then you can understand him better. He is putting together multiple words now but he still likes to grab our hands and guide us to what he wants.

He does not ever say yes but will say uh huh

This little guy is a movie buff he loves to watch movies and is always trying to get into the DVDs his favorite is Mater tall tales. But he will watch pretty much anything. His favorite toy I think has to be a couple of monster trucks he has. He likes to drive them all over the house!

We have bought the boys bunk beds and we are trying to teach Corbin to stay in his big boy bed! That has been a challenge he is going to bed a lot better now but some nights he is waking up multiple times a night and wants a drink or something I feel like I have a new baby again I hope he starts staying in his bed soon because he is driving be crazy!!

Corbin loves to play outside and wants to go out and play. He is getting to the point where he will not put up with Braxton taking his toys and is starting to get a little aggressive. The other day I was watching them play and Braxton took a toy from him. The Corbin tackled Braxton and took him down and laid on him. I could not help but laugh Corbin may be the younger brother but he is a solid little guy so Braxton better watch out!

Corbin has so many nicknames here are a few common ones we use: Corbie, Corbers, Corbicon (that's his transformer nick name), stinker is also a very common one.

Corbin know and can say the name of most animals and say there sounds we are now working on his ABC. He can start to sing the song and knows the sounds of a couple of his letters and can recognize some of his letters too.

This cute little guy is such a joy in our family and we are grateful to have him. He has such a fun loving personality and is very happy little guy most of the time. He is all smiles and so sweet. We Love You Corbin!

Corbin 2nd Birthday!

Corbin is two already it seem like I just had him time is going by so fast!! Well we celebrated his birthday a little early when my parents were out here so that was nice to have them here.

Corbin had mixed emotions about his cake, at first he thought it was pretty cool!! He was way excited then not so much I don't know if it was the fire he was scared of or the cake but either way I love his little scowl!

He did not want to blow out he candles he needed a little encouragement from all of us!!

A love from grandma helps when you have a scary cake too!

Between Corbin and Braxton that monster did not stand a chance! I think Corbin is pretty pleased with him self that he destroyed it!!

I love this little guys cute little looks he is so mischievous all the time!! He is a tuff little guy though he does well keeping up with his brother!

I know this is a terrible picture of me but Corbin liked his toy and Braxton did too they have had a lot of fun playing with it!! Happy Birthday little man I can't believe that you are already two years old!
