Christmas Party
Kyle and I along with three other couples in the ward helped to organize our ward Christmas party. I had a lot of fun having an excuse to make decorations. I forgot to take pictures of them at the actual party though. It was amazing to see the youth help out that evening in getting the tables set, food to the tables etc. Before eating we had the people came participate in little service projects, writing letters to the missionaries, making little craft kits (snowmen) for the Primary Children's Hospital, and room for people to donate old toys to either kids in the ward or whatever was left may have gone to the nursery or DI the RS president and Nursery leader took care of it. I am grateful for the people in our committee and all those who helped out, it takes a whole ward to run a party and it was a great experience in which I learned a lot.
Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving was spent up at the Johnsons at least Kyle and Warren went. Kyle made some delicious mashed potatoes. I stayed home because I wasn't feeling well.
Black Friday was terrific, we saved lots of money by staying in:) My Toronto cousins though had a get together that evening though which I went to alone because whatever I had I shared it with the boys and they stayed home. It was fun to catch up with a few of them.

Warren's Going:)
After a couple of previous attempts Warren is going potty, YES!!! One day he asked me to change his diaper every time it got wet. It was time. Off to the store for a variety of incentives:) I am not sure who enjoys them more, him, Logan, Kyle, or me. We are working at. It is hard sometimes but, the joy and excitement and the memories of him having success are my daily highlights. Who knew? The first time he said in his super enthusiastic voice, "Now I can go to school"!!! He was having a hard time selecting what underwear he should put on he grabbed the pile and gave it a hug and said, "I love my underwear"! Today he church he was so excited to show his teachers Finn McMissile, that he was about to take off his pants to show them, he might of got halfway. I guess another boy who was visiting had Green Lantern style on and were immediately pals. This was one of the first things he told me when we met in sharing time. (He's a Sunbeam and I teach CTR4 so I sit right behind him). I am so happy for him:)
Catching Up: a little bit
November 20,
We found out a little princess was going to join our family. I was stuck on boys, had the fabric picked out for one quilt and an idea for another that I had just recently seen at Gracie Lou's, as well as the idea of not having to buy too much besides diapers, new car set, and a new bed. I was excited that I could have a little Ila, a dream since I was little, I always wanted one of those four generation photos with Gma Ila Toronto, Ila Joan, Myself, and Ila ..... :) Gma. has passed on but I am sure is watching over us.
When we first told Warren that he was going to have a little brother or sister he just wanted Logan and that he already had a brother. He warmed up to the fact there was going to be another little one around and then said he just wanted a brother when we asked how he felt about having a sister. We took Warren and Logan to the ultrasound he was more fascinated with the room and I guessed missed out on the news of the girl. When we told my mom and dad over the phone one night while having dinner that we were having a girl he started to cry that he didn't want a sister and wanted a brother. Kyle did a great job of comforting him. He says he loves her already and wonders when she is going to come. Every now and then he'll ask me why he can't have a brother and sister soon instead of just a sister. A couple times when he felt her kick he has pretended that her kicks are so strong that he propels himself into another room and laughs as he says that she kicked me real hard:)

A New Hobby
For our wards super Saturday we could choose several things to do. I wanted to learn to crochet for a Personal Progress goal. These are definitely not perfect rows are not exactly straight. But I plan to continue to practice as we travel in the car and hopefully get better. It was fun to learn something new!

Halloween
Warren loved Trick-Or-Treating! Do you think Grandma has treats at her house?
These are our costumes.... I had a lot of fun making their costumes this year. I thought we could use them as pajamas for the rest of the year. I was worried a few times that Warren wasn't going to take to his costume, because every time I tried to try it on him he would run away. Then a few days before Halloween he wanted to be a hot dog, a dinosaur, and last but not least Tarzan. The next day he wanted to be Robin Hood. I made Logan's cape for Super Elmo first and it took part of the day to figure it out. I thought Warren's would come together much faster, boy was I wrong. I couldn't get the pleats how I wanted them and then the bias tape that I put along the top of the cape was unpicked, sewed, unpicked, sewed, unpicked, re-cut, sewed, unpicked.... I am grateful that we finally got it together and finally decided that he will love it no matter how it turns out. So, after all the worries but knowing in the back of my mind that he would love it... I wondered too if it was worth the time and then he tried on his hat and I knew that it was definitely worth it, next the cape, one of those VISA moments, priceless, and finally the shirt and pants an early birthday present for me. I let him wear it as pajamas that night and the next day he ran around the house being Super Grover, if it hadn't got in time out and dirty I am sure he would have worn it again. I am excited to wash the clothes so I can see him fly around the house again. I also need to grab a solo photo of Logan if he'll cooperate.
Our pumpkins that we made for FHE. I need to get the other side of Kyle's pumpkin.
