IF it is the Store app that's giving you trouble> Settings/Apps/installed Apps & click that. In search type Cop. When it comes up, hit the ellipsis & Uninstall.

Next > Store, type in Microsoft Copilot and "Get"

In the meantime, please try the following steps to troubleshoot further:

Step 1: Restart Copilot

• Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
• Look for any process named Copilot or Windows Copilot.
• Select it and click End Task, then try launching Copilot again.

Step 2: Check for Updates

• Go to Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates.
• Install any pending updates, especially those related to Copilot or system stability.
• Restart your PC after updates are installed.

Step 3: Sign Out and Back In

• Sign out of your Microsoft account and log back in.
• This refreshes your session and often resolves authentication issues.

Step 4: Clear Copilot Cache

• Navigate to: C:\Users<YourUser>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Copilot
• Delete temporary files (avoid deleting system files).
• Restart your PC and try again.

Step 5: Repair or Reset Copilot

• Go to Settings > Apps > Installed apps > Windows Copilot > Advanced options > Repair.
• If Repair doesn’t help, try Reset (this will remove app data).

Step 6: Run System File Checker

• Open Command Prompt as Administrator.
• Run:

    sfc /scannow
  

• This will check and repair any corrupted system files.
