Hello anonymous9,
Thank you for posting your question to Microsoft Q&A forum, and especially for providing the detailed description and screenshot.
Based on your screenshot, it appears you are searching for it in your Windows Start Menu, which is why you are only finding standalone programs like OneNote. The "My Templates" feature is an add-in that runs inside the New Outlook application, not a separate program. It is only visible when you are composing a new email.
Here is how to find and use it:
- Open your New Outlook application.
- Click the "New" button (or New > Mail) to start writing a new email message.
- In the new message window, make sure you are on the "Message" tab in the top ribbon.
- Look along this ribbon for an icon labeled "My Templates". If you do not see it: Look for an "Apps" button on the ribbon (it may look like a puzzle piece). Click it, and "My Templates" should be in the list that appears.
-
If the add-in is not on your ribbon or in the "Apps" list, you may just need to add it from the store (this is safe and free)!
- While in the new message window, click the "Apps" button.
- At the bottom of the list, select "Add apps".
- A new "Apps" window will open. In the search bar at the top, type "My Templates".
- Find it in the list (it will be from Microsoft) and click "Add" to install it.
Once installed, it will be available in your "Apps" list whenever you compose a message.
I hope these steps help you find and use the add-in. Please let me know if you have any trouble with these steps.
