Hi,

I use OneNote across 2 different devices. Despite the notebook showing that it is 'synced', my work I did in that notebook on the other device is not there. It has no 'conflicting pages' or 'not-synced' notification so I have no idea until I notice something is missing and when that happens I usually cant figure out what it was. Please help, this is important work I cannot loose anymore.

    Dear @rosebauume,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

First of all, I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you’ve experienced. I truly appreciate your patience during this time and thank you for bearing with us.

In this case, please try these steps below and check if it works:

1.Go to File > Account and check if you have connected to other services with different account to sync your OneNote:

    • Then go to File > Info, you can check if you enable the share feature:

    2.Update OneNote and Office:

Ensure OneNote and your Office applications are fully updated on both devices. Open any Office app, click File > Account > Update Options, and then select Update Now.

    3.Verify Your Account

Double-check that you’re signed in with the exact same Microsoft account on both your devices. Sign out on the affected device and then sign in again using the Sign in again option.

    4.Check Notebook access online

Open OneNote Online by signing in at OneNote Online to confirm that your notebook is syncing properly via OneDrive. If the notebook works online, remove and re-add it on the problematic device.

    5.Reset Sync Connection

If the issue persists, sign out of OneNote completely on the affected device (including all Office apps), restart your device, and then sign back in. This process resets the sync connection.

For further troubleshooting and step-by-step guidance, please refer to: Fix issues when you can't sync OneNote - Microsoft Support

I hope the above steps will solve your problem.

Note: Please note that our initial response does not always resolve the issue immediately. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution.
