Delete or Deactivate a User

You may want to deactivate a user if they no longer need to access the software or if you need to free up a license. Once the user is removed, the changes will reflect immediately across the software. A user can be deactivated from the users & teams page.

Then click the "manage users" tab. Click the three ellipses next to the name of the person that you want to make inactive. You have the option to either view their profile or make them inactive.

Once they're inactive, they'll be removed from the list. You can see all inactive users by clicking the filter in the top right and unchecking the option to hide inactive people. All inactive users will be in gray. Activate them by clicking the ellipses menu and then selecting "activate user."

 

Tip! An email address can only be active or inactive on one account at a time. To free up the email address before making the user inactive, change their role to "none" and remove their email address from the email field. This allows them to be added to another account or start a new account with the same email address.
