Moral Dilemmas ~ Government ~ Politicians ~ Voters

Greed over humanity has reached critical mass in many lands in our world. We need to shift and include integrity in our humanity.

The following is a post from January 2, 2013. Truths do not change. Here we are discussing the same points to the same political dilemmas seven years later.

Moral dilemmas occur in every facet of life. One of our life lessons is to balance our needs with the needs of everyone and everything else.

When do we take care of our self, our needs, our wants, our desires?

When do we go beyond ourselves to include taking care of others, others’ needs, others’ wants, others’ desires?

It is important that we take care of ourselves. Self preservation mandates we take care of ourself first in order to have the stamina to take care of others, such as putting on an oxygen mask on an airplane before putting on your children’s oxygen mask.

But what is the boundary that marks the saturation point of critical mass of care of the self to excessive selfish, only self serving agendas at the expense of harming others?

At what point do we shift into the numbing state of egocentric blindness that appears to fall on our personal and collective moral conscience?

At what point do we stop listening to others’ points of view on any subject, and only listen to our own selfish and hurtful opinions?

Are we getting paid to do a job?

Are we students?

Are we in administration?

Are we appointed to the job?

Did we get voted in to do a job?

Do we listen to the loudest voice screaming in our head?

What is it that grabs our attention, and is important to us?

Are we swayed by peer pressure, popular opinion, financial, political or social gain?

Is it important that we win at all costs, or that we do the right thing under our watch at this time?

Is it important to eliminate all others’ points of view, vision and agendas in order that our own is the only light that shines, at the tremendous expense of human, social and financial sacrifice, as long as we win locally, nationally and worldwide?

Are we aware that everything going on in every country is seen by every other country, that we no longer live in Neanderthal ignorance, behind high walls, void of technology, science and education?

Are we truly living our conscience, our moral conviction in the face of all truths, not just the “truths” we want to see?

Do we make decisions based on integrity and honor for the good of all people, or based on personal, social, financial or political gain?

Does someone else, or something else own your soul, your voice, your mind?

Recognize that it is not socialism or any other kind of “ism,” to play your part in the betterment of humankind. Name calling another’s point of view is a deflection technique, rather than dealing with the issue at hand.

It is possible to sabotage all other attempts at the remedy if it is not our idea, our agenda, our platform. It is possible to sink an agenda, and a country, and the world if we choose not to be responsible.

It is time to get out of the sandbox.

It is not possible to build something up at the same moment you are tearing it down.

What is needed at this point in time is to do the job in a cooperative effort, making just decisions in the face of threats by bullies of every kind.

We teach our children to stand up to bullies, but it seems when it comes to healing us grownups, we adults have the backbone of a grape.

We teach our children to stand up to bullies, but it appears that political blackmail is tolerable to the paid-off politician.

We need to mature, abandon peer pressure, and do the job we are paid for, volunteered to do, or are appointed to do.

We need to be strong, courageous and valiant in the face of difficult and unpopular opinions of our time in every situation.

Courage is doing the right thing in the face of fear-based threats, in order to help humanity and our country.

It takes courage to act with integrity and honesty to stand up against friend and foe alike, in order to do the right thing for all of the people under our political or private watch, without tipping the scale of justice towards selfish greed and political and personal gain.

It takes integrity not to turn a democracy into an authoritarian dictatorship.

Now is the time for our leaders to be leaders.

Our decisions need to be balanced, or they will topple. The more out of balance the decision, the harder and faster they topple.

Now is the time for our leaders all over this world to build up, not tear down.

Now is the time to let the breath of education, science, wisdom, light, and healing to sweep through our lands, like a refreshing rain renews what was once barren, fallen, deprieved, and destitute.

What Is The Other End Of The Silver Cord Attached To? ~ Part II

One end of the Silver Cord, mentioned in yesterday’s post, is connected to you. The other end of the Silver Cord in this picture, looks like the Spirit in the Golden Bowl. It is on its way back to Re-Membering Itself to its Original Source, God. There is no division here. This is not a separate tool the Source of all Life uses to bring you to LIFE, or to Integrate you back from whence you came. ALL IS ONE. God told us about how this works in Eccelesiastes 12:6-7. This Silver Cord is our Direct Line from God to you. God, Source, Energy, however you perceive It, cannot be divided or separated. It is not “other” than God. The Silver Cord IS the Active, Real, Presence of God Living in your Spirit. That is what is known as your “I AM Presence.” This IS nothing less than God in your LIFE. This IS God.

Think of this for a moment. Your Spirit is a share of the Holy Spirit. From our very fisrt inception on the planet was lifeless until we had the “Breath of Life” blown into us from God, Source, Energy, however you understand this. It is our share in the divine life, life beyond the physical senses. When you and I draw our last breath on this planet, our Spirits go back from where they came, back to the Source of All Life.

The Silver Cord IS Eternal LIFE, IS God. Re-Member, God cannot be separated. We have finite, mortal minds attempting to grasp infinite, immortal realities. The Silver Cord is the LIFE of your Spirit. When our Spirit retreats, we are lifeless, dead. This LIFE of the Spirit IS God animating you. This IS your Energy Source, however you have come to understand this in your journey through your LIFE. We all have own own experiences, families, upbringing, and our own personal experiences and revelations after that. The truth is what it is, regardless of personal or group belief.

This is what is meant by the statement that YOU are GOD. If we only knew what This Divine Presence truly Is.

It is supreme lack of understanding to deny what God has, and is, doing in and through you and me. Some religions propose that God is outside of you. We know that this statement is false, especially if we claim to believe in the Words of Jesus. Jesus already told us that the Kingdom of God is INSIDE of us in Luke 17:21. It seems we humans only hear what we want to hear, and shut down our understanding when something conflicts with what we first learned or thought. We go into denial and/or fear.

Fear is the result of ignorance. When we ALLOW and ACCEPT what Jesus and Ascended Masters have taught for eons, fear subsides into knowledge, gnosis. We have grown to know how things work with science, technologies, mathematics, languages, health, magnetism, electronics, quantum physics and the like. This is the beginning of enlightenment. We no longer need to live like cave dwellers. Although we have the free will to continue to live like cave dwellers, knowledge helps us to realize there is more, much, much more.

FEAR, as an acronym, means: False Evidence Appearing Real. Along with fear, tactics used include guilt, obligation, manipulation. These are all signs that your free will has been usurped. No one owns the rights to your eternal Soul. You do. God gave you free will, freedom to live and express your LIFE, LOVE and LIGHT.

How many of us cling to the beliefs and/or religions we were taught at seven years old, as if the seven year old has all the complete wisdom to comprehend the Infinite, Unfathomable Energy, God? It’s like learning that has been placed on a continual loop, cycling no new information, nor allowing in any other revelation. Know that Jesus came to Earth because we had it all wrong. We need to take ALL of his Words to heart.

There are also many of us who run for the hills, away from any kind of dogma. Still, ignorance is not bliss, nor the reality of your life. Just know there is more when you are ready to discover what I am sharing with you now.

Imagine lighting a candle, one candle from another. The source of the original candle is not extinguished, even if millions and billions of candles are lit from this first original candle. One Divine Breath blowing over the tops of all these candles can be lit at once. This I AM Presence, which is WITHIN YOU, the Spirit of you, IS God, sharing LIFE throughout all Creation and Manifestation.

Does this information rock your world? Do you still cling to the erroneous statement that you are all sinners, needing to be saved? Rather, you are all the Mighty I AM Presence walking in physical form upon this Earth, here and now. Who do you think it is who would want you all bound up by fear, lack of love, forever beating your breasts in lamantation, when so great a gift as Jesus speaks about, the Kingdom of God dwells WITHIN us?

The Cosmic Error, the famous fall from grace from the Perfection above, is the Original Sin. The fables and myths propagated through Earthly time from these fallen ones, have lied and twisted the truth to keep you subserviant. They have placed upon humankind the very dastardly deed they themselves have done. Many people still do this to this very day. It is a very old diversionary tactic. Notice when someone in your culture accuses someone else of the very thing thay are doing. That is what happened at the very beginning of human history. The Nag Hammadi library of scriptures explain more about this. Suppression of this library of knowledge only lasted for a relatively short, dark time. This library has now seen the light of day.

Part of this Cosmic Error is the fact that a human being with an immortal Spirit was created before Yaldaboath who is believed to be the “creator” of humankind. Read On The Origin Of The World, Codex 2, 103, 2-32. This I AM Presence WITHIN YOU has always been and always will be the LIFE of God in your Spirit. You and I are human descendants, through DNA and the eons of time, to this original human Creation, created by the Father of Jesus.

What has happened, especially since the Councils of Nicaea, Laodicea, Trent and Constantinople, is that the Father of Jesus, the Author of himself and the Creation of the spirals of galaxies, universes and the Cosmos, got blended with the lesser “gods” and their creations. Have you ever wondered why there are two stories of Creation in today’s bibles? There is a reason for this.

Sinister forces are at work, and have been since the very start, trying to keep the population “dumbed down” through the tactics of fear and punishment, especially with the dawning of a patriarchal society and ruling change. They do not want you to read these once-banned books, because of the truth they contain. It has been a control game from the start. You no longer have to be a pawn in anyone or anything’s game anymore. Once you know the truth, you become free to use your free will. You can choose not to go in a new direction with this information, but you cannot “unknow” that which you now do know.

There is only Infinity, One God, Father of Jesus. Keep in mind, Jesus said, “You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks according to his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.” John 8:44. Why would he have said this if it were not true? No, Jesus was not speaking about something else. He meant every Word he said.

This verse has been contorted to mean something other than the words of Jesus actually said. We humans do this a lot. If we do not like what is being said, we put a spin on it until it is watered down to what we want to believe. I suggest we let the Words of Jesus stand, exactly as they are, without human spin.

It is Infinity, God, the Father of Jesus, and no other lesser gods that we are to treasure. Lesser gods are all part of our pre-history and history. We are not to worship man-made religions and man-made gods going by limited writings, much of which were hidden from our eyes.

The Father of Jesus IS our I AM Presence. Wake up to the realization that, since you are alive and reading this, you have this Precious Presence carried WITHIN your Spirit. When you meditate and pray, get to know this Glorious God WITHIN your heart, mind and Spirit. It is not any different than praying to the Father of God at any other time. God is not separate. Your I AM Presence is intricately part of your spiritual makeup. You and I are inseparately linked to God, Father of Jesus Christ, THROUGH OUR SPIRITS. This is what is meant as our Christed-Selves. It radiates in every single one of our auras. It IS who you are. You are fully human, and fully Divine. Depending on how we choose to use our freedom, for Light or for dark, for Good or for not good, for LOVE or not love, will determine how much we will help or harm humanity and the Earth.

Poverty Mentality Fuels Hoarding Wealth, Property, Resources ~ In All Classes ~ In All Countries

Fear is the foundation of the poverty mentality regardless of financial status. The primeval instinct to survive fosters fear to the core of our beings, from the top one percent of wealth earners, and also affecting the middle and low classes of every society in the world. The need to survive, to have “enough” on one level is what keeps us alive. How do we know if we have crossed the line from surviving to hoarding?

Who ever thought hoarding would become so popular?

We watch those hoarding shows on TV with the same shock as we have when we watch horror shows. We wonder, who can live like that? Hoarding all depends on what you love the most.

This systemic problem affects the high class, the middle class and even the low class equally in all countries across the globe. This is not only a problem of the top one percent. The high class is keeping all the wealth of their companies and investments. For example, the countries with profitable oil fields are said to have the greatest levels of poverty within those countries. The middle class is trying to hang on to what they have, to climb higher financially and/or not to lose what they have. The same holds true for the low class. Despite what they say, no one really wants to be homeless, hungry, abused, frozen, ignored or hurting.

CAMDEN, NJ – OCTOBER 11: A homeless man named Bob waits for donations from passing motorists on October 11, 2012 in Camden, New Jersey. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Camden, New Jersey is now the most impoverished city in the United States with nearly 32,000 of Camden’s residents living below the poverty line. Camden, which sits just over the bridge from more affluent Philadelphia, also has a chronic crime problem with 48 recorded homicides this year alone. A lack of jobs has been a feature of life in Camden since the city lost most of its manufacturing base in the late 60’s and 1970’s. While the state unemployment rate is about 9.9 percent, Camden’s is estimated at 19 percent. (Photo by Spencer Platt/Getty Images)
The problem is, if no one budges to help humanity in need, problems get worse, not better. Wealth hoarding hurts people, all levels of governments, animals, climate and the world at large.

How do we know if we have become an unhealthy hoarder of wealth, property, food, medical care, clothes, shoes, and various other things? We can each ask ourselves these questions:

* Do I think the problems of other people do not affect me?
* Do I feel if I earned it, I keep it all, no matter what?
* Do I view wealth as power over others?
* Do I think that money is the bottom line?
* Do I think that money is the bottom line at the expense of every and anything else?
* Do I believe in the non-reality of the “trickle down economy,” that I get raises when the top makes money?
* Do I think that if I made money last year that I can tolerate inhumane treatment of others, and corruption that I would otherwise not tolerate?
* Do I justify lying, cheating, stealing as long as I make money?
* Do I support others who lie, cheat and steal as long as I make money?
* Do I wall off my feelings, not wanting to see the world’s lack, hunger or need in all forms?
* Do I feel like I need to keep up with the material things my neighbors, bosses, friends/family have?
* Do I think if others want what I have, they should to go out and earn it, even when I see them struggling to survive?
* Do I think children ought to go hungry and/or homeless because their parents are struggling?
* Do I think children ought to go hungry and/or homeless because I disagree with their parents?
* Do I think there is no room in the country for refugees?
* Do I think there is no room in the country for immigrants?
* Do I think there is not enough money to help those less fortunate than myself?
* Do I think if I give to those less fortunate than myself that I will not have enough?
* How would I feel if I was being persecuted in my country and needed food, shelter or clothing?

Hard lines are sometimes drawn by those who have against those who have not. Why? Fear is the root cause; fear of personal lack, and fear of personal failure. Justifying why we cannot help someone is a red flag to the beginning of deadening our sensitivities.

When does living lives of ordinary care cross the line into lives motivated by greed?

When does greed cross the line into hoarding?

We need to regain our humanity. To be fully human, and not a robotic shell of a human being, we need to exercise virtues of the heart.

There is another dysfunctional climate sweeping across the world, affecting every nation. It is a climate issue of hoarding wealth, property and resources.

What is the remedy? Must we give away every dime we have and give away our homes until we too are destitute? No. We can make financial donations whenever want to. However, it is possible to open our hearts and offer assistance where we can. Not every way of helping to solve the systemic problem of hoarding wealth involves money. For example, we can:

* Volunteer our time to worthwhile causes, or at the local hospital
* Become aware of where local soup kitchens and homeless shelters are
* Learn a new language in order to help those less fortunate in your area
* Write letters to local and state representatives for humane treatment of all people
* Read non-fiction books on the lives of others to become more aware of the plights of others
* Become more environmentally aware of ways to use recycled items, cars, plastics, household goods …

The hoarding of property and resources is also systemic across the globe. My husband and I personally drove across the United States a year ago. We drove from Berkeley, down the coast of California in a Prius C, which gets from 50-70 miles per gallon of gas. We then traveled from southern California kitty-corner to Ohio, avoiding major highways in order to see the country on roads less traveled. Most of the time on these roads we were on roads with two-way traffic, and seldom met cars along the way. I don’t even remember one vehicle behind us for more than one block. From there we traveled to the east coast of the United States. What was the cost of gasoline? It only cost $147 for transportation for two people to cross the United States of America.

What did we see as we drove across this country? We saw vast, I mean vast, areas of open land. Not all land was farmland. When people say there is no more room in this country for people to come in, they have not personally traveled across the country. I can vouch for that. I have also traveled the entire east coast of the United States. Except for the cities, mountains and valleys are certainly not filled. I would even go so far as to say most areas in this country are unpopulated.

There are practice solutions to the hoarding of wealth, property and resources that will assist people in need. Jesus told us how to treat one another in the Golden Rule. Perhaps if we put ourselves in the places of the people who are fleeing rape and torture, hunger and poverty, and unhealthy situations, we will become less armored to devastating human conditions of those who are truly in need.

Every human being in every country will benefit from more fair practices and humane treatment. Jesus is the king of the kingdom to come. Until that time, humanity can do a better job helping one another, void of the hoarding of wealth, property and resources.

God Bless

SAVING RAIN FORESTS ~ THE LUNGS OF THE PLANET

shadegrown-top1-300x139[1]

Our rain forests are the lungs of the planet. There are ordinary things we ordinary people can do that do not require the deforestation of the rain forests. Shade grown, organic and fair trade coffees grow in the rain forests, under the lush, tropical canopy is one easy way to take a stand to save our rain forests.

Rain forests protect the habitat of migratory song birds we all love to see and hear ushering springtime in. The migratory birds also eliminate the need for chemical pesticides since these birds eat the insects that would otherwise make meals of the coffee trees below. Shade grown trees draw birds, birds that act as a natural pesticide protecting the coffee trees.

The Thanksgiving Coffee is the 2017 Roaster of the Year. This company plays a major role in saving the rain forests of the world, as well as working with small, amazing family farmers and cooperatives around the world each of which is an expression of unique soils, varieties and climates.

Other coffee growers strip rain forests to plant coffee trees without the live giving benefits of the rain forests. Destroying rainforests for short-term profits depletes oxygen in our air, and contributes to global warming. What is equally alarming is the

“We thank you for the purchase of our coffee. The price you pay enables us to send our children to school.” – Mrs. Florence Namaja Wabire

displacement or genocide of the indigenous people who live in the rain forests. Before the rain forests can be harvested, the indigenous people must be removed. The National Academy of Sciences reports that over 50 million acres if rain forests are seriously degraded a year, which is 10 acres a minute. Unless this destruction stops, rain forests will disappear in the next century. The social, ecological, economic, and political remifications will irreversibly damage the health of the Earth and all its inhabitants.

There are simple things you and I can do if this seems like an important issue to us, such as purchasing rain forest fair trade, shade grown coffees, and Rain Forest Crunch, which is a delicious peanut brittle. Markets are being created to sell rain forest products without destruction of the rain forests. Songbird Coffees from the Thanksgiving Coffee Company grow trees with dual purposes; to grow shade trees for the songbird above, while coffee beans are planted beneath them. They are also fair trade.

Life is busy and not everyone is aware of these startling statistics. Tropical rain forests are the Earth’s oldest, most productive, most diverse ecosystems. They cover less than 2 percent of the globe, yet support nearly half of all species, as many as 25 million kinds of plants and animals. Some 2,000 forest tribes and 200 million people live in the rain forests. Since 1900, one tribe has disappeared from Brazil each year and 90 out of 270 groups are gone.

The rate of cultural extinction is much greater than the rate of environmental degradation.

While we may not all be able to personally go to a rainforest and stop its demise, we can all personally and responsibly buy tropical rainforest, fair trade products that do not strip the land of the rain forests or its people. The Thanksgiving Coffee Company is an artisan roaster company in northern California. They buy from small rain forest farms and cooperatives they call partners, around the world. It is a family run company that is built upon sustainability.

Thanksgiving Coffee Company has their project supporting climate change adaptation in Uganda.

Farmers Eias Hasalube and Hakin Aziz beneath the canopy of Mr. Aziz’s restored coffee farm.

They state on their blog, “We are happy to announce that our partners at the Peace Kawomera Cooperative have just received notice that their climate change adaptation has been approved by the Dutch NGO Progreso!”

Peace Kawomera is a coffee farmer cooperative grown on one of the slope of Mt. Elgon in eastern Urganda, near the city of Mbale. It started in 2004 selling mainly coffee to the USA Thanksgiving Company. Thanksgiving Coffee Company has won the 2012 Sustainability Award for the work in Rwanda, being recognized by the Specialty Coffee Association of America.
