What Was Jesus Doing 2 Weeks After The Crucifixion? ~ from the 2024 International Impact Book Awards Winning Book ~ In Their Image And Likeness ~ PART 1

The first chapter of Jesus in India, by Mirza Ghulam Admad mirrors the in-depth work of Nicolas Notovitch in 1894, a Crimean Jewish adventurer who claimed to be a Russian aristocrat, spy, and journalist. Notovitch also tracked Jesus into India, Tibet, and Kashmir, uncovering history of Jesus which reports that he dies of natural old age. These are not the only accounts of Jesus surviving the crucifixion.  There is more to this story that warrants further investigation. …

Admad points out the well-known history, that seven hundred, twenty-one years before Jesus was born, the ten tribes of Israel were taken prisoner from Samaria by Shalmaneser, King of Assur, to Media. Jesus tracked the lineage of his family tree through this region and India, like we track our ancestry using genealogical searches to discover our own family tree roots. This was the same time frame of the Jewish capture and exile into Babylon, east of Israel, historically known as the Babylonian exile. While the Temple was reconstructed in Jerusalem, not all the members of the ten tribes of Israel returned at that time.

Admad adds that it was the mission of Jesus to find the ten lost tribes, since many of them had adopted Buddhism, and gradually relapsed into idolatry.

Consider Luke 24:39 and Luke 24:42, 43. Here Jesus is showing his wounds from the nails in his hands, and how they recognize him as he eats broiled fish and a piece of honeycomb with them after the crucifixion. He is with them physically, literally, not as a spiritual illusion or other manifestation.

Admad asks such good questions, “If he had been resurrected after death, how was it that this body of spirit could still have borne the wounds inflicted upon him on the Cross? What need had he to eat? And if he required food then, he must be in need of food even now.”

Notice what Jesus ate after the crucifixion, “When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his feet. But while they still did not believe for joy, and marveled, he said to them, “Have you any food here?” So, they gave him a piece of a broiled fish and some honeycomb. And he took it and ate in their presence.” Luke 24:40-43

Spirits do not eat food.

I do not believe this was a mistake, nor matter of chance that the food Jesus was given held immense healing benefits for his recovery from crucifixion. Other people previously survived crucifixion.

I have always used food as medicine, just as I, my mother, and grandmother did throughout our lives. First, I investigated the medicinal benefits of honey.

Honey has high levels of monosaccharides, fructose, and glucose. It has antiseptic and antibacterial properties often used in chronic wound management and combatting infection. Honey promotes wound healing, heart health, and healthy blood sugar levels. All of these would benefit Jesus’ wounds after the crucifixion.

There are many references to the history of honey dating back to 2100 BCE and several are mentioned in the Old Testament and New Testament:

Proverbs 16:24, “Pleasant words are as a honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.” King James Version

1 Samuel 14:24-30, “Now the Israelites were in distress that day, because Saul had bound the people under an oath, saying, “Cursed be anyone who eats food before evening comes, before I have avenged myself on my enemies!” So none of the troops tasted food. The entire army entered the woods, and there was honey on the ground. When they went into the woods, they saw the honey oozing out; yet no one put his hand to his mouth, because they feared the oath. But Jonathan had not heard that his father had bound the people with the oath, so he reached out the end of the staff that was in his hand and dipped it into the honeycomb. He raised his hand to his mouth, and his eyes brightened. Then one of the soldiers told him, “Your father bound the army under a strict oath, saying, ‘Cursed be anyone who eats food today!’ That is why the men are faint.” Jonathan said, “My father has made trouble for the country. See how my eyes brightened when I tasted a little of this honey. How much better it would have been if the men had eaten today some of the plunder they took from their enemies. Would not the slaughter of the Philistines have been even greater?”

Deuteronomy 32:13, “He made him ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase of the fields; and he made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock;”

2 Samuel 17:27-29, “When David came to Mahanaim, Shobi son of Nahash from Rabbah of the Ammonites, and Makir son of Ammiel from Lo Debar, and Barzillai the Gileadite from Rogelim brought bedding and bowls and articles of pottery. They also brought wheat and barley, flour and roasted grain, beans and lentils, honey and curds, sheep, and cheese from cows’ milk for David and his people to eat. For they said, “The people have become exhausted and hungry and thirsty in the wilderness.”

Psalm 81:16, “But you would be fed with the finest of wheat; with honey from the rock I would satisfy you.”

Ezekiel 16:13, “So you were adorned with gold and silver; your clothes were of fine linen and costly fabric and embroidered cloth. Your food was honey, olive oil and the finest flour. You became very beautiful and rose to be a queen.”

Matthew 3:4; and Mark 1:6, “John’s clothes were made of camel’s hair, and he had a leather belt around his waist. His food was locusts and wild honey.”

There are eleven evidence-based health benefit of eating fish:

  1. High in important nutrients
  2. May lower your risk of heart attacks and strokes due to Omega fatty 3 acids
  3. Contain nutrients that are crucial during development
  4. May boost brain health
  5. May help prevent and treat depression
  6. A good dietary sources of vitamin D – functions like a steroid
  7. May reduce your risk of autoimmune diseases
  8. May help prevent asthma in children
  9. May protect your vision in old age
  10. May improve sleep quality
  11. Delicious and easy to prepare

Fish also has Vitamin B12, crucial for the growth of healthy red blood cells which Jesus needed to recover from his near-death experience.

It is also important to note that the gifts of Frankincense, Myrrh, and Gold presented to Jesus by the Magi, was a foreshadowing of his path. Frankincense is an antiseptic aiding digestion, coughs, and cold. Myrrh is an antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, helping to repair the immune system and reduce fevers. Both Frankincense and Myrrh would be beneficial for healing after a crucifixion. Gold has always been a treasured mineral which would have been necessary for the purchase of travel and goods on his travels to the east post-crucifixion.

The Hyssop stalk soaked in wine was what Jesus had put to his lips when he said, “I am thirsty,” recorded in John 18:9:28. Hyssop is a holy herb that was used to sprinkled on lepers. It is commonly used in tea for coughs, decongestant, shortness of breath. It is also used to treat bruises, cuts, and wounds.

Might it have been for purposes of compassion rather than merely mockingly giving Jesus a bitter drink at such a distressful time on the cross?

Jesus spent time in India, the Himalayas, and Tibet. His famous Sermon on the Mount comes straight out of The Upanishads of India. Jesus would have had to travel to India prior to his Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 5 to have had his words carry the same meaning so closely stated.

The book, Living In Freedom & Love Without Conditions by Phyllis M. Brooks, mentions that Joseph of Arimathea was a trader of tin and was the uncle of Jesus. He took Jesus on several merchant trips by boat and by land to India during those eighteen missing years of Jesus life, from ages twelve to thirty, but you have never heard about in today’s bible. When you read about his travels to India, and learn what Jesus learned, you discover that the sages of India over two thousand years ago embarked on an experiment that is worth repeating today. This is the reason The Upanishads rolled off the tongue of Jesus so easily at his famous Sermon on the Mount. There are enormous amounts of Wisdom in The Upanishads.

Rather than focusing on the outside of life, Hindu and Buddhist sages focused on what is inside humanity, consciousness, and the Energy that lies within each one of us. They discovered the changeless reality of what this book is about, what Aldous Huxley called Perennial Philosophy, the Eternal Well-Spring of the Eternal Universal Life Force Energy.

Can you discover this deepest part of you, the God-realization that dwells within you, as Jesus taught?

Yes, this is apocryphal knowledge. Apocryphal means HIDDEN KNOWLEDGE, not anti-Christ. It is time to get out from under cult-like indoctrinations, which prefer to teach their own human understanding rather than to teach all the words of Jesus Christ. I stand on the words of Jesus Christ.

Christian Nationalism ~ Whatever Side You Are on ~ Listen to or Read This Post ~ Repost

The following is an important message on CHRISTIAN FUNDAMENTALISM by James Talarico, seminary student:

Our pastor, Dr. Jim Rigby, is on his writing leave but I don’t know how much writing is getting done. I sent him a text asking for some inspiration for this sermon, and he gave me this. It’s “The Top Reasons Beer is Better than Religion.”

Number One: when you have beer, you don’t knock on people’s doors trying to give it away.

Number Two: there are laws against forcing beer on minors who can’t think for themselves.

Number Three: nobody’s ever been burned at the stake because of their favorite brand of beer.

Number Four: you don’t have to wait more than two thousand years for a second beer.

Number Five: and last, if you’ve devoted your life to beer, there are groups to help you.

My granddad was a Baptist preacher. I’ve been a member of this church since I was two years old. And now I’m in seminary studying to become a minister myself. My faith means more to me than anything. But if I’m being very honest, sometimes I hesitate for telling someone I’m Christian.

There is a cancer on our religion. Until we confess the sin that is Christian Nationalism and exorcize it from our churches, our religion can do a lot more damage than a six-pack of Lone Star.

There is nothing Christian about Christian Nationalism. It is the worship of power, social power, economic power, political power in the name of Christ. And it is a betrayal of Jesus of Nazareth.

He told us we would know them by their fruits. Jesus includes, Christian Nationalism excludes.

Jesus liberates, Christian Nationalism controls.

Jesus saves, Christian Nationalism kills.

Jesus started a universal movement, based on love. Christian Nationalism is a sectarian movement, based on mutual hate.

Jesus came to transform the world. Christian Nationalism is here to maintain the status quo.

They have co-opted the Son of God.

They’ve turned this humble rabbi into a gun-toting, gay-bashing, science-denying, money-loving, fear-mongering fascist.

And it is incumbent upon all Christians to confront it and denounce it.

Christian Nationalism is on the rise.

Two years ago, Christian Nationalists stormed the Capitol, killing police officers while carrying crosses, and signs reading “Jesus Saves.”

Last year, Christian Nationalists on the US Supreme Court overturned Roe vs Wade, allowing states like ours to outlaw abortion even in cases of rape and incest.

And as we speak, two Christian Nationalist billionaires are trying to replace public schools in Texas with private, Christian schooling.

We are closer than we think to a Christian Theocracy.

How did this happen?

The first followers of Jesus didn’t call themselves ‘Christians.’

They called themselves ‘The Way.’

Their crucified teacher taught them a different way of being human.

And they intended to follow it.

The early church was a revolutionary community built on radical love, a ‘peculiar people’ who shared all their possessions and refused to participate in the economy, the military, or the culture.

The Book of Acts tells us that the first Christians were persecuted for ‘turning the world upside down.’

But three hundred years after Jesus was executed by the Roman Empire, Emperor Constantine made Christianity the official state religion of that very same empire.

Constantine was the first Christian Nationalist.

And ever since, the powers that be have been taming Christianity, domesticating it, diluting it into something more palatable.

Pro-war, pro-wealth, pro-white supremacy.

That original counter-cultural movement became a tranquilized, privatized, weaponized religion the official sponsor of western civilization.

A religion of sharing became a religion of greed.

A religion of peace became a religion of violence.

A religion of forgiveness became a religion of judgment.

A religion of ego transformation became a religion of ego affirmation.

Today, Christian Nationalists obsess over people’s private parts while the planet burns.

Eight men own as much wealth as 3.6 billion people and Christian Nationalists are boycotting Barbie.

The Bible doesn’t mention abortion or gay marriage.

But it goes on and on about forgiving debt, liberating the poor and healing the sick.

Christian Nationalists like to say this is a Christian nation.

Not only is that historically inaccurate.

Not only is that theologically blasphemous, but it is just not true.

Look around us.

If this was truly a Christian nation, we would forgive student debt.

If this was truly a Christian nation, we would guarantee healthcare to every single person.

If this was truly a Christian nation, we would love all of our LGBTQ neighbors.

If this was truly a Christian nation, we would make sure every child in this state and in this country was housed, fed, clothed, educated, and insured.

If this was truly a Christian nation, we would never make it a Christian nation, because we know the table of fellowship is open to everybody, including our Buddhist, Hindu, Jewish, Muslim, Sikh, and atheist neighbors.

Jesus could have started a Christian theocracy. But love would never do that.

The closest thing we have to the kingdom of heaven is a multi-racial, multicultural democracy where power is truly shared among all people, something that’s yet to exist in human history.

Christan Nationalism is not only a threat to the American experiment in democracy. It’s also a threat to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

When someone asked Jesus to name his most important commandment, he cheats and gives two – two that he says are related. The first is to love God. The second, he said, is like it: “love thy neighbor as thyself.”

It’s like it because when I recognize the divine image in myself, I can’t help but recognize it in my neighbor; whether they’re Christian or not, whether they’re religious or not.

In the parable of the Good Samaritan, Jesus specifically defines neighbor as someone different from us, racially, economically, politically, religiously.

God loves diversity.

God loves variety. Just look around this big, beautiful planet of ours.

Do we really think that God would make all these beautiful people with all their beautiful traditions for no reason at all?

There are so many pathways to the sacred.

The Islamic mystic Rumi said, “Every religion has love, but love has no religion.”

God is so much bigger than our human categories.

God is not a Presbyterian. God is not a Christian. God is not a noun at all. God is a verb.

God is not a being. God is being Itself.

God is love.

And that’s why Jesus is against anything that gets in the way of that love between neighbors, including religion.

That’s why he’s always breaking religious rules.

That’s why he’s always getting in trouble with the religious authorities.

That’s why he says sinners will see the kingdom of heaven before religious people do.

Sorry to everyone here. (parishioners laugh)

I knew you came all this way.

Religious supremacy is antithetical to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Jesus didn’t come to establish a Christian nation.

He came to reveal ultimate reality, which he called the kingdom of God.

But it’s not like any kingdom we’ve ever known.

Instead of a throne, Jesus sits at a table.

Instead of a warhorse, Jesus rides a donkey.

Instead of a sword, Jesus picks up a cross.

The kingdom of God inverts the power dynamics of “all the kingdoms in the world.”

True strength is vulnerability.

True stature is equality.

True wealth is sharing.

And we as Christians are called to realize that kingdom “on earth as it is in heaven,” not by force, but by faith.

Jesus asked us to have the faith of a mustard seed, trusting that by living and dying for love we give birth to a better world.

That’s not easy to do.

In a world full of fear, Jesus knew we would put our trust in something other than God, something other than love.

As a Jewish rabbi, he called those things idols: money, status, and the most dangerous idol of all, power.

When Jesus was tempted by the devil, when he was in the wilderness, one of the things the devil offered was power, “all the kingdoms of the world,” and Jesus rejected it.

When his disciples ask who will be the most powerful in the kingdom of God, Jesus said, you know the lords of the earth push their people around, “but among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be a servant.

And when they still didn’t get it, and they ask who will be the greatest in the kingdom of God? Jesus said, “Little children,” the least powerful, but most trusting members of any human community.

That’s the kingdom of God.

I think Chance the Rapper said it best, “Don’t believe in kings. Believe in the kingdom.”

Jesus knew, in the words of Dorothy Soelle, “There is only one legitimation of power and that is to share it with others. Power that is not shared, that is not turned into love, is pure domination and oppression.”

Christian Nationalists are more committed to the love of power than to the power of love.

And it exposes a lack of faith because the opposite of faith is not doubt. Doubt is a healthy part of any faith. The opposite of faith is control.

When we stop trusting God, when we stop trusting love, we start taking control ourselves.

Christian Nationalists want to control what we read, who we marry, where we travel, when we have children.

They want to control our minds and our bodies.

“O Ye of little faith.”

Christian Nationalists trust domination because they think domination is what works.

But Jesus revealed that the true power of the universe is not domination, but love.

In Daoism, they teach that over time the soft overcomes the hard.

The water wears down the rock. The wind takes out the mountain. The grass upends the concrete. “The meek … inherit the earth.”

Violence may win in the short run, but in the end, love always wins.

Jesus said this kingdom of God is in our midst. It’s hiding in plain sight. Heaven is already here inside of us. Above us. All around us.

On my mom’s side my granddad was a Baptist preacher. But on my dad’s side, my Grandpa Talarico never went to church, but he was one of the most generous, compassionate, moral people I’ve ever met.

He was an immigrant from Italy whose family saw firsthand the dangers of mixing church and state.

He settled in the Texas hill country, and on Sunday mornings he would take these long walks through the wildflowers and the live oaks, and he would take me with him.

He said it was the best chance to see G.O.D., the Great Out Doors.

Biologists tell us that everything in nature is connected and evolving toward greater union.

Anthropologists tell us that our ability to share and corporate is humanity’s superpower.

And astrophysicists tell us that the universe is just gentle enough to make our existence possible.

This universe of ours is nothing but gratuitous grace.

Teilhard wrote that the very physical universe is love.

We see it in the harmonies of music, the principles of mathematics, the patterns of nature.

We are all expressions of that creative power.

We are the universe becoming aware of itself.

As children of God, children of the cosmos, we are loved unconditionally, indiscriminately, infinitely.

No achievement can add to it.

No mistake can take from it.

No amount of church going or church missing can change it.

That’s truly deserving of the title, “Good News.”

We are made by love, with love, to love.

I call that love God. You may use a different word, and that’s okay.

“There are a thousand ways to kneel and kiss the ground.”

We can cure the disease of Christian Nationalism.

We can protect against the virus of religious extremism with healthy religion.

The great faith traditions of the world have so much to offer us in this time of global crisis.

Hinduism’s ahimsa provides an alternative to the logic of violence.

Buddhist meditation provides an alternative to the abuse of our attention.

Judaism’s Sabbath provides an alternative to the demands of capitalism.

And in a world where everything can be bought and sold including the earth itself, Native American traditions provide an alternative to ecological extraction.

It’s hard. It is so hard to protect your spirit in a world trying to kill it.

That’s why we need faith communities like this one.

That’s why we need stories and traditions and practices that heal our soul and transform our mind.

Every time on this sanctuary that we say the prayers, sing the hymns, sprinkle the water, eat the bread, drink the wine, we’re tuning our hearts.

Our Buddhist friends tell us that it takes practice.

Neuroscientists tell us that we can become kinder, more empathetic if we work at it.

Things like love, peace, and hope, they require strength training, a gym for the heart.

So every week we gather here to sing our songs and tell our stories just for the opportunity in the words of Thich Nhat Hanh, “dwell in the ultimate.” Together. Just for a moment.

And that’s almost better than a cold glass of beer.

I invite you now to your own reflection on these words.

Are you aware that the hyssop Jesus took a sip from while he was on the cross and the foods that he ate post crucifixion after meeting up with the apostles as they walked on the road to Emmaus, as told in Luke 24:16, were all foods that had healing and antiseptic properties?

“Consider Luke 24:39 and Luke 24: 42, 43. Here Jesus is showing his wounds from the nails in his hands, and how they recognized him as he eats broiled fish and a piece of honeycomb with them after the crucifixion. He is with them physically, literally, not as s spiritual illusion or other manifestation.”

In the book Jesus in India by Mirza Ghulam Admad, he asks a good question, “If he had been resurrected after death, how was it that his body of spirit could still have borne the wounds inflicted upon him on the Cross? What need had he to eat? And if he required food then, he must be in need of food even now.”

“Notice what Jesus ate after the crucifixion,[1] “When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his feet. But while they still did not believe for joy, and marveled, he said to them, “Have you any food here?” So, they gave him a piece of a broiled fish and some honeycomb. And he took it and ate in their presence.” Luke 24:40-43

Spirits do not eat food.

“I do not believe this was a mistake, nor matter of chance that the food Jesus was given held immense healing benefits for his recovery from crucifixion. Other people previously survived crucifixion.

“I have always used food as medicine, just as I, my mother, and grandmother did throughout our lives. First, I investigated the medicinal benefits of honey.[2]

“Honey has high levels of monosaccharides, fructose, and glucose. It has antiseptic and antibacterial properties often used in chronic wound management and combatting infection. Honey promotes wound healing, heart health, and healthy blood sugar levels. All of these would benefit Jesus’ wounds after the crucifixion.

“There are many references to the history of honey dating back to 2100 BCE[3] and several are mentioned in the Old Testament and New Testament:

Matthew 3:4; and Mark 1;6, “John’s clothes were made of camel’s hair, and he had a leather belt around his waist. His food was locusts and wild honey.”

“There are eleven evidence-based health benefit of eating fish:[4]

  1. High in important nutrients
  2. May lower your risk of heart attacks and strokes due to Omega fatty 3 acids
  3. Contain nutrients that are crucial during development
  4. May boost brain health
  5. May help prevent and treat depression
  6. A good dietary sources of vitamin D – functions like a steroid
  7. May reduce your risk of autoimmune diseases
  8. May help prevent asthma in children
  9. May protect your vision in old age
  10. May improve sleep quality
  11. Delicious and easy to prepare

“Fish also has Vitamin B12, crucial for the growth of healthy red blood cells which Jesus needed to recover from his near-death experience.

“It is also important to note that the gifts of Frankincense, Myrrh, and Gold presented to Jesus by the Magi, was a foreshadowing of his path.

“The Hyssop stalk soaked in wine was what Jesus had put to his lips when he said, “I am thirsty,” recorded in John 18:9:28. Hyssop is a holy herb that was used to sprinkled on lepers. It is commonly used in tea for coughs, decongestant, shortness of breath. It is also used to treat bruises, cuts, and wounds.

“Might it have been for purposes of compassion rather than merely mockingly giving Jesus a bitter drink at such a distressful time on the cross?”

I will share more considerations tomorrow.

Lent Meditation #1 2025

“Important information has been hidden from you. I will share what has been kept from you for unholy purposes under the dark veil of controlling agendas using threats to your immortal soul as the means to get you to toe the line of obedience to religious, political, and social slavery.

“I have also asked Jesus (Sananda), Enoch (Metatron), Elijah (Sandlephon), Raziel (leader of the Throne angels), Uriel (name means shining a Light on Truth), my personal guardian angel, and the Soul Knowledge of Kamala (the late Kamala (Renner) St. Germain, former owner of Dove Star Institute of Holistic Technology and one of my metaphysical teachers) to guide my understanding and writing.

“Jesus taught that each one of us has the Limitless Living Light of Christ within us, as Luke 17:20-21 clearly states. This book will delineate the difference between Jesus and the role of the Christ, which is the most misunderstood distinction between the two. Jesus was human. The Christ is not.

“All modern bibles are correcting the word “among” to “within” in Luke 17:20-21, as the Interlinear Bible in Hebrew Greek English agrees. Even older bibles add a footnote on the word “among” sending the reader to the bottom of the page where it explains that it means “within.” Jesus taught humanity that the Light of God, which is the Light of the Kingdom, is within each one of us. That is precisely the answer Jesus gave to the Pharisees who asked him when to expect the Kingdom of God to come.

This is the very reason why Jesus was crucified, because he taught that the Love (Christ) and the Light (Wisdom) of His Father, who is the Almighty Creator of All Creation was within Him AND within you and me. He dared to preach the truth. He equated Himself with God. THAT is why Jesus Christ is our Savior, to enlighten us to this fact. THAT is what He came to teach us. He never came to die a gory death on the cross for Original Sin, which is the sin of the fallen angels, not the sin of Eve, nor Adam, nor you and me. There is more to this revelation which I will share with you.

“We need to find the courage to resurrect the lost art of empathy, compassion, and genuine love in our current world situation and our everyday lives to be part of the acceleration of the Limitless Living Light transforming present realities into personal and planetary ascension. This Light works in and through humanity via our Light Source within our Adam Kadmon template, which I address in Chapter 5.

“The choice is ours to make. We are not victims of our own thoughts, words, and actions. It is possible to turn the tide of ignorance into knowledge, fear into integrity, and self-sabotage into healing. Every country in the world can benefit from ordinary care of other human beings as well as rejuvenating the entire Earth. …

“Raziel is the angel who presides over the high celestial angelic beings known as Thrones described in Chapter 4, who are at the service of the Order of Christ. Since this book reveals the Light of Christ within humanity, I call on the enlightenment of Raziel to guide the future of this book. Raziel is the chief angel leading the carriers of the Throne of God, in addition to guarding the secrets of the universe, according to The First Book of Enoch, which again, has no reference to the popular entertainment of present time. …

“Each chapter in this book will include quotes which I call the Library of Knowledge pertaining to the subject matter, and examples of life experience. This knowledge can help you in your ascension process in this lifetime. This is all about free will and how you wish to use your freedom. You are your own boss, no one else rules over you, no priest, minister, nor politician can rob you of your cash, property, thoughts, actions, nor your voice, unless you let them.

“You are alive by the Divine Breath of Mother/Father God, what I also call your God Particle, which you may know as your Energy, Soul/Spirit, “I Am” Presence, Higher Self, or any other understanding of the Eternal Universal Life Force Energy which animates you. Awareness of this same Light of Christ within you enlightens you to the reality of which Jesus taught.

“Eternal Universal Life Force Energy is part of the spiritual DNA of all human beings, since everyone is made up of body/mind, and Soul. It is not just within Jesus, nor only in the saints, not only in me and you, and not only in those who believe a certain way, but is in every living, breathing human being. It is the animating force of all human beings and all life. Jesus tried so hard to teach this to humanity and it ultimately became the reason he was crucified on the cross, that the Light and Life of Eternal Universal Life Force lives within him AND us.

“Jesus never said he came to die on the cross for us. He told us many things that I will explain in this book. We will look at his words, not just the popularized fifteen historical years of the words of Jesus, those famous twelve years of his youth, and his last three years. He lived and spoke for eighteen additional years before the crucifixion, as well as more years after his crucifixion. It is time to look at all that Jesus Christ told humanity, not only those words that agree with the different interpretations that have been placed upon his words.

“A Savior, a Messiah had been promised. The mass of humanity was not spiritually mature enough to grasp the new concept so far from their reality, that when Jesus spoke to them in Luke 17:21 that the Kingdom of God was within them, they had no idea what he was talking about, no matter how many parables he used.

“Yes, Jesus was crucified on the cross, just as the Old Testament foretold and the New Testament acknowledges. But the purpose of the arrival of Jesus on Earth was to show us how to live in true freedom. This is true for every single human being on the planet, not only for those who find themselves living in democratic and life-affirming countries and humane political systems. Every human being is born with a God-given Soul, or a Spark of Eternal Universal Life Force Energy for those scientific, medical, technical, and/or metaphysical minds among us.

“This book is a life lesson on how to stand up with peace, love, integrity, magnanimity, truth, honor, valor, gentleness, kindness, modesty, humility, patience, friendship, generosity, goodness, self-control, faithfulness, much joy, and the abundance of all good things. We learn harsh and valuable life lessons when we go against these Eternal Universal Life Force Energy principles played out in our mission, dharma, and karma as I explain in Chapter 10.

“Rather than accept the oppression of sin placed upon humanity by religious, political, and social orders, it is more healing to recognize that we learn life lessons by our faults and mistakes, as well as by our successes and achievements.

“We human beings learn life lessons for our own good, the good of our families, the good of society, and the good of the world. If there ever was a time for the rebirth of these noble traits in the history of humanity, the time is now. Otherwise, we will fare no better than many other cultures that were brought to the end of their once thriving civilizations. History has an energetic and magnetic habit of repeating itself. The very thing keeping us alive, in addition to our physical structures and systems, is the complete emotional and intellectual freedom exhibited by individual interpretations of the use of free will. This book takes a closer look at free will. The choice is yours in this poignant moment. You can get off the merry-go-round of dysfunction anytime you decide to do something more positive. It is all about recognizing that you are not a victim of your life any longer. You are where you are in your life by the very seeds that have been sown. If you do not like where you are, you can change it at any moment, starting with your thinking. …”

The Real Story of Jesus

“I came to teach a misguided world to love without conditions, to forgive without exception, to heal what was broken, and to build up peace and freedom for all. That generation of people could not understand how heal themselves or the world at that time. I’ll try again now and hope you listen and comprehend my words.” Jesus the Christ

Jesus eats bread, fish and honey, and explains the Sacred Scriptures AFTER he survived the crucifixion. Spirits and Souls do not eat food.

I invite all readers to consider the following information in the love for humanity with which it is written. Notice when you read something past the indoctrination of belief you were either born into or chose to accept as an adult, there can be the tendency to flare up into a fit of supposedly righteous indignation. It can seem as if others were ignorant of what you know or what you choose to believe as if you were taught everything there is to know on the subject.

Unless you know what Jesus said and taught from his ages 12-30, you have not been told everything that Jesus said and did during that time. Most of humanity boasts of the first 12 years of Jesus childhood and his 3 years of preaching, for a total of 15 years. Jesus preached to the Hebrew people and all who would listen to him. The religious and political powers of his day did not want to hear things other than what they had been indoctrinated into either. There is more for you to know.

Please read the following with patience and humility, understanding that you will possibly read some of the life of Jesus that has not been taught to you. The 18 years of the life of Jesus Christ, from his ages 12-30 are not apocryphal. They are critical for your continued emotional, mental and spiritual development.

Do not fall for popular gimmicks of any bible that does not contain the life of Jesus from his ages 12-30. There is an agenda to keep in dumbing down the sheep-like followers, which is never smart.

At this poignant time in humanly contrived convenient history, know that Jesus Christ survived the crucifixion, despite what the heavily indoctrinated religions throughout the ages have professed. They do not know what they have not allowed themselves to know. They have blocked out the adult years of the very person about whom they say is their foundation. It turns out their foundation is an illusionary rock made of sand. Jesus taught a lot more important information than most religious teachers teach.

Do you want to know what else the adult Jesus said?

The following is from my latest book, IN THEIR IMAGE AND LIKENESS, subtitled, UNIVERSAL WISDOM, published by Blue Fortune Enterprises LLC. https://blue-fortune.com/aster-press

Yes, Jesus was crucified on the cross, just as the Old Testament foretold and the New Testament acknowledges. But the purpose of the arrival of Jesus on Earth was to show us how to live in true freedom, love without conditions, as New Paradigm Multidimensional Transformation (NPMDT) classes teach. Check out the right-side bar for NPMDT for School of Esoteric Sciences that I teach. “The goal of living in the Limitless Living Light of Love without conditions is true and possible for every single human being on the planet, not only for those who find themselves living in democratic and life-affirming countries and humane political systems. Every human being is born with a God-given Soul, or a Spark of Eternal Universal Life Force Energy for those scientific, medical, technical, and/or metaphysical minds among us.

Otherwise, we will fare no better than many other cultures that were brought to the end of their once thriving civilizations. History has an energetic and magnetic habit of repeating itself.

“Jesus Christ did say what would happen to him, telling his apostles that he would suffer and what to expect. But his crucifixion on the cross is not the reason he came. He is the Savior because he saved us all from humanly contrived and manipulated concepts hidden from us since the time of the fallen angels raping women, thereby begetting their Nephilim children, whose Souls never die, nor can they return to Eternal Universal Life Force Energy.

“Can you guess where they still are?

“While all bibles tell of this human history in Genesis 6, somehow the raping of women became the Original Sin conveniently attributed to Eve by the myth of her not obeying what God told Adam. More in-depth details in this book show beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Original Sin is that of the fallen angels, so conveniently placed upon a single woman, and erroneously transmitted to all unsuspecting and gullible people.

“Today’s bibles are so heavily redacted; it is no wonder that humanity has a skewed view of accurate bible history. It is as if you were the jury in an important trial attempting to make a judgment after only being given transcripts with the most important information blacked out. …

“The flood wiped out the physical bodies of the fallen angels and their Nephilim children, but their Spirits still walk among us today when we welcome them in through our conscious decisions to lie, cheat, steal, murder, and kill. We also have the ability not to go along with their sinister suggestions. We can choose good over evil, or evil over good any time we want to. That is what free will is about.

“Egotistical and haughty Spirts of the Nephilim can still work through human beings who go along with unholy agendas, when allowed by weak human minds to agree with unprincipled, unconscionable, and horrific concepts and realities we see playing out on the world’s stage even today. This is explained in greater detail in Chapter 5.

“This book is entitled IN THEIR IMAGE AND LIKENESS because that is exactly how we were created since the beginning of human beings on Earth, with tendencies to both good and evil. There is a reason this is mentioned in today’s bibles in the very first book.

“Why do you think there are two Creation stories, the first of which says, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness…” Genesis 1:26?

“This information was well-known throughout pre- and ancient history until the fourth century, before men, not God, hid this knowledge from us. I will share the writings that demonstrate this information.

“I encourage you to keep reading, especially if this goes against your current belief system. Knowledge is power. It is too easy to ridicule that which we have not only not read, but also not researched. There is more to this than first reaches the otherwise educated mind. …”

Did you know, for example, that all the foods given to Jesus AFTER the crucifixion when Thomas got to touch the wounds in Jesus’ hands, had extremely healing properties? …

“Consider Luke 24:39 and Luke 24:42, 43. Here Jesus is showing his wounds from the nails in his hands, and how they recognize him as he eats broiled fish and a piece of honeycomb with them after the crucifixion. He is with them physically, literally, not as a spiritual illusion or other manifestation. …

“Spirits do not eat food.

“Proverbs 16:24, “Pleasant words are as a honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.” King James Version

“1 Samuel 14:24-30, “Now the Israelites were in distress that day, because Saul had bound the people under an oath, saying, “Cursed be anyone who eats food before evening comes, before I have avenged myself on my enemies!” So none of the troops tasted food.

“Deuteronomy 32:13, “He made him ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase of the fields; and he made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock;”

“2 Samuel 17:27-29, “When David came to Mahanaim, Shobi son of Nahash from Rabbah of the Ammonites, and Makir son of Ammiel from Lo Debar, and Barzillai the Gileadite from Rogelim brought bedding and bowls and articles of pottery. “Might it have been for purposes of compassion rather than merely mockingly giving Jesus a bitter drink at such a distressful time on the cross?”

This is a huge subject, how Jesus the Christ survived the crucifixion. I know, this can pull the proverbial religious rug out from under your indoctrinated mind.

Unless you have no knowledge or opinion of Jesus and the crucifixion, please know that you are indoctrinated, usually under man-made threats to your God-given Soul. You are a Spark of Eternal Universal Life Force Energy. You exist beyond your physical body.

I am a bridge from indoctrination of oppression to freedom to be, think, and do as you are incarnated to be. Your Spirit and Soul were never meant to be under any group think tank agenda, religious, political, social, or otherwise. Your Soul is God-given. Your Spirit/Soul is birthed by your Silver Cord of Life spoken about in Ecclesiastes 12:6-7.

Unless the people you may place yourself under have studied all the life of Jesus the Christ, not just his famous 15 years in the New Testament, you only know a fragment of what Jesus said and did.

Why Was Jesus Was Killed?

Many people say they follow Jesus and what he taught in the bible. The subject Jesus taught the most about is the kingdom of God, over 100 times in the gospels. He said he was the Son of God, as in John 5:18: “For this reason therefore the Jews were seeking all the more to kill Him, because He not only was breaking the Sabbath, but also was calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God.”

Yet Jesus also said, “nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.Luke 17:21 in the New King James Version

John’s gospel starts with these words, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God; all things were made through him, and without him was not anything made that was made. In him was LIFE, and the LIFE was the LIGHT of people. The LIGHT shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” John 1:1-4

Keep in mind John was known as the beloved disciple. Jesus confided more with John than any other male disciple.

Already we see a major problem for some religious minds. The denial of who and what Jesus is, and what you and I are, creates a huge dilemma and a split in what Jesus actually said, which is also confirmed in the scriptures found at Nag Hammadi. For the writers of some bibles, like The New World Translation Of The Holy Scrpitures, THEY CHANGE THE WORDS of this passage to agree with what they think it ought to say, for the scalpeled scripture they wish to promote. They are not alone. In the process, they diminish the words of Jesus repeated numerous times in the gospels.

The important point is what Jesus said, not what any brand of religion wishes to change the words they don’t like into words they do like, in order to go along with human doctrine. Doing so makes the words of Jesus moot.

Jesus said, “I am the light of the world, he who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12

To follow means to immitate, in this case, to also grow in this Life-giving LIGHT. He says by doing this, we will have the LIGHT of LIFE. You and I have this LIGHT in our Souls, our Living-Light God Particle. It is the Light within our immortal souls. Not everyone knows about, or uses this LIGHT as Jesus told us to. Many of us have been made to feel as victims in the religious control-system game.

Fear, obligation, guilt (FOG), manipulation, and shame are motivating forces that control many minds among us, but only when we do not use the free will we are each born with. Some of us prefer to remain spiritual puppets of various control-systems of mind control, while others of us prefer not to consider anything Jesus said as real. The Light Jesus talks about is the light of our eternal souls given to us at birth. The Light of Jesus, is the Light of God, is the Light in each of us, grows stronger when we awaken to the words of Jesus, and accept it as truth in our lives.

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hid. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a bushel, but on a stand, and it gives light to all the house. In the same way, let your light so shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 14-16

Luke’s gospel also records this point which Jesus tried in so many ways to tell us. “No one after lighting a lamp puts it in a cellar or under a bushel, but on a stand, that those who enter may see the light. Your eye is the lamp of your body; when your eye is sound, your whole body is full of light; but when it is not sound, your body is full of darkness. Therefore, be careful lest the light in you be darkness. If then your whole body is full of light, having no part dark, it will be wholly bright, as when a lamp with its rays gives you light.” Luke 11:33-36

You are a child of the Light. Wake up your Soul, which is Infinite Light, Love and Life. Jesus was killed for this spiritual reality. Religious leaders did not want to hear it. They called it blasphemy. The Light within you also cannot be suppressed. You and I can deny it. But the fact remains, it is part of us. As you’ve noticed, questions still persist until you finally understand that you are not just your mind. You are not just your physical body. May 1, 2020 ~ History of the Consecration of the United States to the Blessed Virgin Mary ~ Why It Is Important

The consecration prayer was originally written by the U.S. bishops in 1959, when they 8-facts-you-need-to-know-about-virgin-mary[1]blessed the national basilica and took that opportunity to consecrate the United States to the Immaculate Conception.

What Was Mary Doing During The First Holy Week? ~ Part I

How must Jesus have prepared His mother for His Passion, Death and Resurrection?

Magnificatio[1]
The Glorification of Mary by Botticelli
They had a connection like no other mother and child. Their experience was out of this world. It involved Pure Love, the Holy Spirit, overshadowing Mary as a 16-year-old virgin.

What first catches my attention is the 16-year-old virgin. What was Mary’s origin? Who really is this mother of Jesus?

This post is written from the perspective of a mother, which I can identify with since I am the mother of five adult children, and grandmother of 12 beautiful grandchildren. However, Our Blessed Mother, Mary, is not me. Mary had a very unique beginning. Mary was a pure and holy child.

“Joachim and Anne were the (maternal) grandparents of Jesus, but they were very old before God sent them Our Blessed Mother as a child. Joachim and Anne were rich and faithful Jews. Each year at the Temple, before Mary was born to them, Joachim made his offering to make up for his sins. One day when Joachim made his offering, the Jewish elders said to him, ‘It is not right for you to offer first gifts, for you have begotten no offspring in Israel.’

“Joachim was very sad and went to the desert to fast and pray. Anne also prayed in her home. There was no greater misfortune for a Jewish person than to be childless. Anne promised God, if He would send her a child, she would bring it up in the faith. She also promised God the child would serve Him all the days of its life. God heard the prayers of Joachim and Anne and sent them a baby girl, Mary.

“In gratitude for the blessing of a daughter, Joachim and Anne brought Mary to the Temple when she was around three years old. At the Temple she was accepted into a special group of virgins, consecrated to God, and received spiritual lessons.

“The desires of the world, vanity, immodest dress and sin never touched her pure soul. She was preserved virginal, body and soul, so that she would be the loving, pure, first “tabernacle” of Jesus, God-made man on earth.

“Mary treasured her purity and her virginity. Even when God sent Jesus to her, and she was married to Joseph, Mary was filled with all the fruits of the Holy Spirit.” Taken from The Virtue of Virtues, Chapter III

In The Holy Bible Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition, Luke 1:26-36 says, “In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary. And he came to her and said, “Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with you!” But she was greatly troubled at the saying, and considered in her mind what sort of greeting this might be. And the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus.

“He will be great, and will be called
the Son of the Most High;
and the Lord God will give to him
the throne of his Father
David,
and he will reign over the house of
Jacob for ever;
and of his kingdom there will be
no end.”

“And Mary said to the angel, ‘How can this be, since I have no husband?’

“And the angel said to her, ‘The Holy Spirit will come upon you,
and the power of the Most High will overshadow you;
therefore the child to be born will be called holy,
the Son of God.’

“And behold, your kinswoman Elizabeth in her old age has also conceived a son; and this is the sixth month with her who was called barren. For with God nothing will be impossible.”

Gabriel presents the plan of God, the Almighty Father of heaven and earth, yet Gabriel waits for Mary to consider in her mind and use her free will to answer. She meditates for a moment, then says, yes: “Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her.”

It is popular these days to say we believe in angels, but what would we do if an angel spoke to us? More than an angel is celebrated this Holy Week. Jesus is reaching from heaven into your and my heart, reminding all of us what He has done for all humankind, even those who do not yet know Him, and those so busy denying Him that there seems to be no room, as in the stable of His birth, in the corners of human hearts. But here is Jesus, still knocking at the door of our hearts, minds and voices. He meets us right where we are, beckoning us to come just a bit closer, and closer still.

Mary and Jesus share a deep Love of God, the Father of both of them. Mary is referred to as Spouse of God through the Holy Spirit. Jesus shares His Blessed Mother with us while He was on the Cross. John 19:26-27 says, “When Jesus saw his mother, and the disciple whom he loved (John) standing near, he said to his mother, ‘Woman, behold, your son!’ Then he said to the disciple, “Behold, your mother!” And from that hour on the disciple took her to his home.” The Holy Bible Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition

After the training from a very early age at the Temple, Our Blessed Mother was taught and knew the scriptures of old told of the suffering servant, the Savior of the world to come as promised, the Messiah. Many women of that day were awaiting the arrival of the Savior, however they understood that to mean. Some thought an earthly king. But Our Blessed Mother remained pure in her heart, not weighed down by ego nor fantasy.

In the next upcoming posts, we can place ourselves at these scenes as we pray and meditate, watching as the child of faith that we are, how Our Blessed Mother responds to the events of Holy Week, Good Friday and Holy Saturday, until the culmination of victory over the Cross on Easter Sunday.

We will see Mary receive the first-hand knowledge of the risen Jesus Christ on the word of John, with whom she is now living. There is so much more to say than this post can hold. It will continue tomorrow, Good Friday.

Upon investigation, every culture claims the name, Mary. The name, Mary, seems to have its roots in Aramaic and Hebrew. According to Wikipedia:

“The name was early etymologized as containing the Hebrew root mr “bitter” (cf. myrrh), or mry “rebellious”. St. Jerome (writing c. 390), following Eusebius of Caesarea, translates the name as “drop of the sea” (stilla maris in Latin), from Hebrew מר mar “drop” (cf. Isaias 40:15) and ים yam “sea”. This translation was subsequently rendered stella maris (“star of the sea”) due to scribal error, whence Our Lady’s title Star of the Sea. Rashi, an 11th-century Jewish commentator on the Bible, wrote that the name was given to the sister of Moses because of the Egyptians’ harsh treatment of Jews in Egypt. Rashi wrote that the Israelites lived in Egypt for 210 years, including 86 years of cruel enslavement that began at the time Moses’ elder sister was born. Therefore, the girl was called Miriam, because the Egyptians made life bitter (מַר, mar) for her people.”

Adult Answers for a Self-Sabotaged Society

We have managed to dumb-down the virtue-based building blocks of today’s society. We can see this in many areas first hand in every country across the globe. It is not only the students in our homes, schools, colleges, and employment who are affected. Over the past 30 years, these students have now grown up into adults. As a result, in many cases we have successfully substituted secular humanism for faith-based virtues in homes, schools, colleges and employment everywhere. By doing so, we have crippled the moral fiber of society, which continues into a downward spiral that affects all of us today. When we attempt to substitute God-given virtues with secular humanism, we begin cracking the firm foundation on which we are attempting to build.

Yes, this has been a problem since the beginning of our human existence. It begins by denying God, or at least excluding and relegating God in all or parts of life we decide to compartmentalize God, as if there were such a thing.

“For centuries, many have lived their lives (of work, study, business, research, social relationships, interests, etc.) in separation of the faith. As a consequence of this separation temporal realities have been adversely affected, existing, as it were, in the shadows on the fringes of the light of Revelation. Without this light many have come to consider the world as an end in itself, without any reference to God; therefore they have distorted the most elementary and basic truths,” wrote Francis Fernandez, in In Conversation with God, Vol. 2

Blessed Alvaro del Portillo, beatified on September 27, 2014 in Madrid, Spain, agreed in his Pastoral Letter dated December 25, 1985 when he added to the words of Fr. Fernandez, “In western countries, particularly, it becomes necessary to correct this separation because many generations which should belong to Christ and the Church are being lost in these years, and because, unhappily, from these places the harmful influences of a new paganism is being sent into the world. Thus, contemporary paganism, is characterized by the search for material well-being at any cost, and by the corresponding disregard – or to put it more accurately, fear, genuine terror – of anything that could cause suffering. With this outlook, words such as God, sin, Cross, mortification, eternal life – become incomprehensible to a great number of people, who are ignorant of their meaning and content. You have witnessed the incredible fact that many people began putting God in parenthesis, in some aspect of their professional lives. But then, as God demands, loves, and asks, they end up throwing Him out – like an intruder – from their civil laws and from the lives of the nations. With a ridiculous and presumptious pride they want to lift up in his place the poor human creature, who has lost his supernatural and human dignity, and has become reduced – it is no exaggeration, one can see it everywhere – to a stomach, sex and money.”

I remember the conversation I had one night some thirty years ago at the local high school during a meeting held for parents and teachers. I was speaking with a school official during the refreshments that followed the evening event. I was telling him what I was observing with my five children in the public school system, was teaching against what parents were teaching about ethics and morality. He was saying that the public school was not allowed to teach any particular belief system in the public school.

“We teach secular humanism,” he said.

“But secular humanism is a belief system,” I answered.

With the separation of church and state, it is understandable that public schools cannot teach one brand of religion in their schools. The frustrating thing parents must deal with in this situation, is that the schools, since they were not promoting a religion, but an alternative belief system, can teach against the very morals, ethics and character education parents teach at home, usurping the voices of the parents eight hours a day, five days a week. This is what happens when we so easily and neatly carve God out of our public and private existence, the existence created by God. We end up with secular humanism.

Secular humanism is a lifestance, or what Council for Secular Humanism founder Paul Kurtz has termed a eupraxsophy: a body of principles suitable for orienting a complete human life. As a secular lifestance, secular humanism incorporates the enlightenment principle of individualism, which celebrates emancipating the individual from traditional controls by family, church, and state, increasingly empowering each of us to set the terms of his or her own life.

A Secular Humanist believes in a consequential ethical system. This is nothing more and nothing less than cause and effect of actions and/or non-actions. Secular humanists hold that ethics is consequential, to be judged by results. This is in contrast to so-called command ethics, in which right and wrong are defined in advance and attributed to divine authority. “No god will save us,” declared Humanist Manifesto II (1973), “we must save ourselves.” Secular humanists seek to develop and improve their ethical principles by examining the results they yield in the lives of real men and women.

It is a sad state of affairs when we carve God out of our lives. So many people today see the direct results within all societies in the world of what happens when we diminish God, the Creator of All, to a fairy tale.

Human secularism leaves the children of 30 years ago, now adults, trying to fix real world dilemmas within their homes, neighborhoods, states and countries, trying to solve problems of war, conflict and social disease like COVID-19. Trying to solve problems without involving God (God forbid!) in every decision in all parts of life, is what is breaking the foundation of societies apart.

How does one teach our grown children, now indoctrinated in secular humanism, to believe in God, the very thing they were taught to shun for 12 grade-school years, plus an additional four or more years of college? To them, any and all religion was taught to be a farce, a laughable fairy tale. We see so many young adults in the world today aimlessly looking for answers, any and all answers that is, but not if they are God related.

I want them all to know there is more, much, much more than they have been indoctrinated to believe. They do not believe they have been indoctrinated. They think they have been freed. The truth is they have been bound up so tight that ridicule is the only answer that comes to their minds. If only all secular humanists would say a simple honest prayer, asking the God of all Creation – the God who Created the Big Bang (to their way of thinking) millions and millions of years ago, to enter their heart and show them the reality of God and the Trinity, which exists within all physical reality, so they could begin a new faith journey, with a deeper understanding of things they already know.

I encourage everyone, young and old alike, to at least try to open their minds (they think they are open minded!), to begin to pray. Invite God the Creator of the Universe (and all universes and galaxies, and science – which has become their god) to make His Presence known to them personally. God, the Father of All Creation, and Jesus Christ, God’s first Creation, and the gift of the Holy Spirit, will enter the heart and mind of all who pray in earnest.

It is not someone’s belief system that makes reality so; or makes reality what it is. How it is, is how it is. Some things are beyond our understanding, however reality is so, even if we do not understand it. God is God, even if we do not fully grasp every detail to every question we have. Not even everything in science has its fully comprehended understandings; those facts that were once expounded upon have changed with the light of new knowledge, for example, believing that the earth is flat.

The adult answer to our self-sabotaged society is to discover, learn and understand how matters of faith in God, the Father of all Creation, who is the Father of Jesus Christ, is ready, willing and able, to come into our lives and work with us, side by side with us, in enlightening our minds to solutions.

We have done many wonderful things in life. But I do notice how much more fulfilling and rewarding it is to work along side God, Jesus and Holy Spirit. We have spiritual tools at our disposal, if only we would use them. I know many of us use these tools, and have beautiful lives of faith. I am also noticing a world hurting by its own ignorance, self-induced problems made by our own making, fueled by greed and our out of control insane ego.

Virtues are the tools that can put us back on the road to living moral and ethical lives. Virtues are good habits, as mentioned in the previous post. Virtues are God-given. We can pray for more faith, hope and love. That is the best place to start.

Good Friday Meditation ~ “Ad Quem Dui Suspiravi”

This beautiful prayer makes a meditative pause today, Good Friday. Find a few quiet moments to

rejuvenate your mind, soul and spirit. Drink from the well that never will run dry.

This prayer was first published as “Ad Quem diu Suspiravi,” from the Latin of Alexander LeopoldFranz Emmerich, Prince of Hohenlohe, Bishop of Sardica. It was translated by the Rev. John F. Duston, S.J.

“He for Whom my heart was sighing
Jesus, now at last is mine.
I possess him and embrace Him
Sharing in His life divine.
*
So, my soul, with all thy powers,
Let thy hymn of triumph ring
And with holy exultation,
Greet the coming of thy King.
*
Sad was I. distressed and lonely;
Joyless was the path I trod;
He, above all else the dearest,
Was not near me – He, my God.
*
Ah! but then He came and entered
In the dwelling of my soul
And the deepest consolation
Held me in its sweet control.
*
Strong the sun, dispersing shadows
Lowering over the darkened earth;
Gently strong, the falling raindrops
Bringing wilted flowers rebirth.
*
Stronger still, the Master Lover
Dissipates my human fears;
Gone all sorrows; gone all anguish;
And the light of hope appears.
*
Now, the day in beauty dawning,
Now each hour till night from morn,
Breathes its happy benediction,
Jesus in my heart is born.
*
He who has Thee wants for nothing;
Thy possession, joy supreme,
Font of life with all its riches,
Happiness and peace serene.
*
Shall I not then, sing Thy praises,
King of kings and Lord of Lords,
If within my heart, I ponder
All the gifts Thy love accords?
*
As I hasten to unfold Thee
In my arms – myself alone –
Thou art rushing, gently, loving,
To enfold me in Thine own.
*
Let me count Thy gifts, dear Jesus:
Out from dark eternity,
Thou hast fashioned me from nothing –
Nothing and obscurity.
*
Thou hast given of Thy nature –
Human me, a thing divine!
Sharing, through Thy loving kindness,
Treasures that are truly Thine.
*
On a wind-swept hill, deserted,
In a stable, Thou were born.
And Thy death – ah, what a contrast!
Love divine, and human scorn!
*
These were gifts, but all above them.
Every day, You come to me,
All forgiven; all forgotten,
Smiling, gracious, lovingly.
*
O the rapture, dearest Jesus,
That Thy thrilling presence brings!
Take me in complete possession,
Son of God and King of kings.
*
Love of self – the weed most killing –
Root it out and in its place,
Plant Thy Love; make me adore Thee;
Make me love Thee by Thy grace.
*
Take whatever in me hurts Thee,
So that You and I may be
Joined in everlasting friendship
Now and in eternity
*
When the sun in glory rises,
When at night, it sinks to rest,
Stay with me, my dearest Jesus,
Loved, by Thou my loving Guest.
*
Let not life with all its falseness,
Let not Death’s relentless power,
Let no force, however potent,
Break the union of this hour.
*
Till my dying breath I’ll love Thee;
In my heart, I’ll praise Thy name
Till my human voice in heaven,
Joins angelic hosts’ acclaim.
*
Then, I’ll gaze on Thee in rapture;
See Thee as Thou truly art;
I shall love Thee – love Thee Always –
Soul to soul and Heart to heart.
AMEN
