Hate on Both Sides of Differences of Opinions is Not the Answer ~ Empathy, Compassion, Understanding, and Kindness Is

Truth matters.

Is it possible to kill enough people on both sides of any issue to even out the score?

Killing those who you deem to be your enemy only creates more enemies and solves no problems.

Is my God better than your God?

Is your God better than my God?

All governments of this one world we all live on would serve their people better if guardrails were put in place to not allow people with mental illness, shortcomings such as egocentric narcissistic and sociopathic qualities to rule. And if that happened, there should be ways to dethrone them and provide the mental health therapy which they so badly need. Not to help people with mental illness is simply barbaric and cruel and they certainly should not be at the helm of any country in a civilized world.

It is also not advisable to allow human indoctrinations of combinations of church and state to rule. Freedom and Democracy matter. Education matters. Lies Matter. Truth Matters. You were born with the freedom of your own personal free will regardless of the country or religious indoctrination with which you were born into.

Your Spirit/Soul only belongs to you. Your Spirit/Soul does not belong to your parents, your religious controllers, nor to the popular political party of your place in this one world we all live on. Your Spirit, which is your Spark of Eternal Universal Life Force Energy, and your Soul, which is the power animating your mind and body with Life until it is finished with its Life purpose in the here and now.

Human beings are born with the freedom of living their lives as best as they see fit, regardless of what country they live in. Human life is divinely inspired. not humanly contrived. No one has authority over your life unless you hand over your personal power to them.

People who consciously hurt other people for their personal financial benefit are also part of the problem plaguing humanity worldwide. It is a selfish power grab for your personal power, fame (your reputation and your personal goals), and fortune (the keys to your cash). Never give away your personal power to cults of religion and politics just to fit in with their indoctrinations. You are more powerful than you may realize.

No one owns the rights to your personhood but you. You do not need anyone else’s permission to live your life. No one owns the rights to your thoughts, words, and actions but you. You do not need anyone else’s opinion to take your next breath.

Hate in any form is not the answer. Hate was not taught by Jesus, Buddha, nor Krishna. The only one suggesting that hate and war in all its ugly forms is the answer, comes from the lack of the Energy Force personified as evil. This is a dark and sinister energy which is the total absence of the Limitless Living Loving Light. Jesus, the Buddha, Krishna and all other spiritual teachers taught that healing comes from engaging with the spiritual Eternal Universal Life Force Energy, the Almighty Creator and Generator of All Life.

It is easy to see the dysfunctional energies at work. This is what some people call evil, which is nothing more than the lack of good, Light, Love, and the abundance of all good possibilities. It is a free will choice to choose dark over Light or Light over dark. You personally have the power to turn this world around, but it takes you choosing the Light of empathy, compassion, understanding, and kindness to begin to turn things around. It is time to peacefully stand up.

Silence is agreement.

Hating the ones who do not agree with you only serves to keep the fire of hate alive in the heart.

Some people personify these dark energies so as to understand them better, as coming from the fallen ones, the fallen angels, or the devil. However you refer to them, they are energies that lack the Limitless, Living, Loving, Light of Eternal Universal Life Force Energy, which is the Energy of the God Force, the Supreme Author of All Life.

Control freak political, religious, and social cults are the problem when they think that “their” God is the best and only “God” to follow. What they do not know is what has been hidden from humanity for eons and is only now being rediscovered. It is time to grow up and learn what has been hidden from you for unholy and control freak agendas.

There are red flags that alert you to discover if you have been drawn into a cult without your conscious permission.

Here are 14 Cult Markers to watch out for[1]:

  1. The group displays excessively zealous and unquestioning commitment to its leader, and (whether he is alive or dead) regards his belief system, ideology, and practices as the Truth, as law.
  2. Questioning, doubt, and dissent are discouraged or even punished.
  3. Mind-altering practices (such as meditation, chanting, speaking in tongues, denunciation sessions, or debilitating work routines) are used in excess and serve to suppress doubts about the group and its leader(s).
  4. The leadership dictates, sometimes in great detail, how members should think, act, and feel (e.g., members must get permission to date, change jobs, or marry or leaders prescribe what to wear, where to live, whether to have children, how to discipline children, and so forth).
  5. The group is elitist, claiming a special, exalted status for itself, its leader(s), and its members (e.g., the leader is considered the Messiah, a special being, an avatar, or the group and/or the leader is on a special mission to save humanity).
  6. The group has a polarized, us-versus-them mentality, which may cause conflict with the wider society.
  7. The leader is not accountable to any authorities (unlike, for example, teachers, military commanders, or ministers, priests, monks, and rabbis of mainstream religious denominations).
  8. The group teaches or implies that its supposedly exalted ends justify whatever means it deems necessary. This may result in members participating in behaviors or activities they would have considered reprehensible or unethical before joining the group (e.g., lying to family or friends, or collecting money for bogus charities).
  9. The leadership induces feelings of shame and/or guilt to influence and control members. Often this is done through peer pressure and subtle forms of persuasion.
  10. Subservience to the leader or group requires members to cut ties with family and friends, and radically alter the personal goals and activities they had before joining the group.
  11. The group is preoccupied with bringing in new members.
  12. The group is preoccupied with making money.
  13. Members are expected to devote inordinate amounts of time to the group and group-related activities.
  14. Members are encouraged or required to live and/or socialize only with other group members.

Stand up for your God-given gift of free will.

Use your free will to get out of the cult. Use your free will to vote. No one owns the rights to your mind, your voice, or your life. Your life, body, mind, and Eternal Soul belong to you. Call someone you can trust.

Eternal Universal Life Force Energy, God, loves you because God is Love, as 1 John 4:8 says. God forgives you because Love forgives. Most mistakes are not sins. They are simply a learning curve for you. You are a child of God here on earth. Only you can live your life. Only you can vote your conscience. If you have given over the rights to your mind, body, or Spirit/Soul to other religious or political groups, or any other group claiming rights over you, use your free will to walk away. Those are not your friends. Neither your political affiliation, your religious congregation, nor your friends can usurp your God-given rights unless you let them.

Cult Antidote: Never hand over your personal power or relinquish your free will to any person, place, or thing at any time for any reason, ever.

Page 259, under the subtitle, COERSION, of my latest book, TRANSITIONING INTO THE AGE OF AQUARIUS, subtitled, AN ENLIGHTENING JOURNEY, for which I am a Finalist in the 2025 INTERNATIONAL IMPACT AUTHOR OF THE YEAR, includes this life-altering information on cults.

Most people have no idea how indoctrinated they are, especially if they have been spoon fed the pablum of various religions, politics, and social like-minded and exclusionary clubs since their births. This is a very liberating book to read.

“A few years ago, when the holidays of Easter, Passover, and Ramadan coincided, my entire being was moved to write this. I just reread this article, and it feels like I am stretching my arms out far and wide and begging everyone to simply love – no matter what holiday is or isn’t part of our personal tradition. I give it to you again for your consideration. Thank you,” says Melody on this Easter day 2024.

“Here they are again.

“Easter and Passover coincided at the same time. I find myself viewing this calendar phenomenon with deeper meaning than just a merging of months and dates. Whatever we believe or don’t believe—however we define God individually—if we resurrect love and peace, free ourselves and each other from critical judgments, and see one another through the eyes of inclusion, these two unique holidays have the potential to become the highest version of religion.

“Religion, love, kindness, respect, inclusion, and peace. Imagine. What a glorious combination.

“Two holidays celebrated at the same time give us the opportunity to immerse ourselves in a mega-dose of love. It doesn’t serve our world to live in judgment or to think one religion is right and the other is wrong. If your life compass leads to love, everything in the world is right.

“There is no room on our precious planet for negative vibrations that exclude, mock, shun, or punish anyone who doesn’t believe as we do.

“Although my roots are Jewish, I am ecumenical in my belief system and embrace all my global brothers and sisters with a heart of love. I don’t attend a house of worship or strictly follow holidays and rituals, but I have always been deeply spiritual. Every choice I make personally and professionally is embodied by the knowledge that I have been given many gifts at birth. Giving back through an open and compassionate mind and heart is my way of saying thank you to a life source that feels bigger than me.

“Although I may or may not celebrate Passover formally this year, I know how to sing the songs that surround this holiday and I hold dear their higher meaning. There is one song that stands out to me the most:

Dayenu.” Translated from Hebrew, it means, “It would have been enough.”

“As family and friends read the Passover story and recall all the violent challenges their ancestors endured to obtain religious freedom, each verse ends with a resounding, Dayenu. Just one obstacle, one plague, one act of violence would have been more than enough. This plea in the form of a catchy tune is crying for humanity that mirrors love and not hate. It was echoed centuries ago, and it is a cry in my heart now.

“If I wrote a modern-day version of “Dayenu,” it would go like this:

One war is too many wars. Dayenu. War is never the answer.

When democracy is threatened in any way, it is too much. Dayenu.

If people aren’t free to live in peace regardless of the color of their skin, gender, philosophy, religion, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, or economic status, Dayenu. Let people be.

“If children are shot in their school, Dayenu. Stop. Now.

If people are murdered, wounded, and abused, Dayenu.

If there aren’t enough resources for everyone in the world and people are poor and starving, Dayenu.

Dayenu to the bullying, bias, prejudice, stereotyping, and violence.

“Let’s sing, say, think, act, feel, and react with high vibrations of Peace, Shalom (Hebrew), Salaam (Arabic), Paz (Brazilian and European Spanish), Mir (Russian, Croatian and Czech), Vrede (Dutch), Amani (African), Bisaniwewin (Native American Otchipwe language), and Heiwa (Japanese).

“Please add your language and ancestral culture to this list and continue to live the vibration of peace and love even more consciously today than yesterday. If anyone threatens the shining possibility of hope, please join me in shouting Dayenu. During a time of two major holidays that coincide, let’s merge minds and hearts and realize with increased awareness that, in the end, we’re all the same. We all bleed, laugh, mourn, and cry in the same way.

“When a stranger saves us from a burning car, we don’t stop that person to ask about their religion, philosophy, or economic status, and we don’t care one breath of judgment about the color of their skin. We just want to be saved by our earth angel, and even if we were the most prejudiced person in the world, our once-closed hearts open to eternal gratefulness for our new savior and friend.

If we believe in God, and however we believe—G-d, God, Om, Jesus, Allah, Krishna, Siddha, Akai Purakh, All-Powerful, Bhagavan, Adonai, Elohim, Jehovah, HaShem, Holy Father, The Christ, The Savior, The Messiah, The Son of God, Holy Ghost, Holy Spirit—let’s embody one truism. We are all children of the universe.

“As one of my books, “Peace Dreamer: A Journey of Hope in Bad Times and Good” says:

If we make a choice to embody the spirit of loving consciousness, we will be able to shift our hearts from fear to love and honor the most authentic definition of ‘peace begins with me.’ The only way we can surround the planet with an inclusive vibration of peace is if we surround the planet with an inclusive vibration of love.

“Whether you celebrate Easter, Passover, Ramadan, Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Chinese New Year, Diwali, or no holidays or religions at all, let’s resurrect and free the highest form of love within ourselves, toward each other, and to everyone on our one precious planet.

Here is Dayenu by the Maccabeats, on Your Tube:

Thank you Melody for you and to all people in the world who promote Love and Light to All. All is One!

Namaste

Swami Vivekananda’s speech in California, recorded on April 1, 1900

“In all of the Indian stories about Buddha the one central note of his whole life is kept up — [which is] sacrifice for others. In Krishna we find two ideas that stand supreme in his message: The first is the harmony of different ideas; the second is non-attachment. A man can attain to perfection, the highest goal, sitting on a throne, commanding armies, working out big plans for nations. In fact, Krishna’s great sermon was preached on the battlefield. Krishna saw plainly through the vanity of all the mummeries, mockeries, and ceremonials of the old priests; and yet he saw some good in them.

“If you are a strong man, very good! But do not curse others who are not strong enough for you. Everyone says, ‘Woe unto you people!’ But who says, ‘Woe unto me that I cannot help you?’ The people are doing all right to the best of their ability and means and knowledge. Woe unto me that I cannot lift them to where I am!

So the ceremonials, worship of gods, and myths, are all right, Krishna says … Why? Because they all lead to the same goal. Ceremonies, books and forms — all these are links in the chain. Get hold! That is the one thing. If you are sincere and have really got hold of one link, do not let go; the rest is bound to come. [But people] do not get hold. They spend their time quarrelling and determining what they should get hold of, and do not get hold of anything. … We are always after truth, but never want to get it. We simply want the pleasure to go about. We have a lot of energy and spend it that way.

“That is why Krishna says, ‘Get hold of any one of these chains that are stretched out from the common center. No one step is greater than another … Blame no view of religion so far as it is sincere. Hold on to one of these links, and it will pull you to the center. Your heart itself will teach all the rest. The teacher within [you] will teach all the creeds, all the philosophies.’

“Krishna talks of himself as God, as Christ does. He sees the Deity in himself. And he says, ‘None can go a day out of My path. All have to come to Me. Whosoever wants to worship in whatsoever form, I give him faith in that form, and through that I meet him.’ (Gita, IV. 12.) His heart is all for the masses.

“Independent, Krishna stands out. The very boldness of it frightens us. We depend upon everything — upon a few good words, upon circumstances. When the soul wants to depend upon nothing, not even upon life, that is the height of philosophy, the height of manhood. Worship leads to the same goal.

“Krishna lays great stress upon worship. Worship God! Various sorts of worship we see in this world. The sick man is very worshipful to God … There is the man who loses his fortune; he also prays very much, to get money. But the highest worship is that of the man who loves God for God’s sake.

“The question may be asked: ‘Why should there be so much sorrow if there is a God?’ The worshipper replies, ‘There is misery in the world; [but] because of that I do not cease to love God. I do not worship Him to take away my [misery]. I love Him because He is love itself.’

“The other [types of worship] are lower-grade; but Krishna has no condemnation for anything. It is better to do something than to stand still. The man who begins to worship God will grow by degrees and begin to love God for love’s sake.”
