The foundation's care and dedication are truly exceptional, and I'm deeply grateful for their unwavering commitment to improving the lives of people with epilepsy. The support I receive from Larissa Hill, who calls me monthly to offer guidance, encouragement, and valuable resources, is absolutely amazing.

My son Zach has been homeless for about 1 and a half years. Recently he called me and asked if he could stay with me for a few days to recover from a grand mall seizure that left him in a bad state. We live in different cities about 150 miles away from each other. He took a Greyhound bus to come and stay with me. In the meantime, I contacted the Epilepsy Foundation. He lost his glasses and his phone during previous seizures. Larissa helped Zach with funds to get new glasses and other essentials with the emergency funding. We are so grateful for the help received. Thank you so much for your attention and your compassion!

Today is March 26, Epilepsy Awareness Day.  I stopped by your office to make a donation and pickup a purple ribbon to spread awareness and honor my daughter.  Your office was closed, no one in the office.  No signs about the day, nothing in the lobby.  For someone whose daughter passed away from SUDEP and wanted to honor her memory and help others, I am disappointed to not have people in the office to talk to and spread awareness on this day of days.  I will be donating instead to SUDEP Action in the UK where our family has found great support and they are doing wonderful things for families with Epilepsy.    I will go make my own purple ribbon today from the store.

This organization has the most empathetic and caring people ready to serve the epilepsy community. If you need anything, reach out to them and learn about all the great programs for kids and adults they offer. Support their work if you can. I am grateful they are here for us in Colorado and Wyoming.

I was diagnosed with epilepsy very late in life (aged 73).  My diagnosis was a somewhat alarming surprise.  Although I knew many people with epilepsy I had many questions about how to manage my own diagnosis.  The two  online support groups that I attend have provided the education and the  emotional support that I and my family need.  Thank you, Epilepsy Foundation.

I am continually amazed by the heart of the Epilepsy Foundation of Colorado and Wyoming.  The staff is continually searching for ways to support those in need.  Their support is endless....they never give up hope.
