Had my first ever facial with Hadiya! She did an amazing job walking me through the process and understanding how we can reach my skin goals using both in-house and at-home routines. Update: The manager reached out to me, and I had a very positive conversation with her. She offered me the opportunity to come back and try out my facial service again, and was very kind and eager to make it right! I was able to come in again, and had my service with Yuri who did an awesome job, and it was everything I was hoping for from the service!

I decided last minute to try this place out since I saw they had an intro offer. I booked the Glow Facial. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with my experience today.

To be clear, I did go into this service knowing that it would likely be different than my past facial service appointments due to the open floor plan and more casual feel, which was totally fine with me!

While the girl that did my facial was very nice, I was surprised when we reached the end of the service and she hadn’t done any extractions. This was the main reason that I came in for the service, and I had expressed that in my notes that I wanted to clear my pores. I’ve never had a facial where they didn’t turn on a bright light, examine your face, and complete extractions. I asked her before getting up if the service typically comes with extractions and she said that she didn’t see any.

Overall, the service felt super short, given that when I booked the appointment, the lady on the phone said the service would be about 45 minutes… and when I looked at my phone when checking out, only 25 minutes had gone by. I asked the lady at check out about it, and she said that the 45 minutes accounted for time before and after the service, which I could maybe understand with a typical spa business, but since this place is casual open concept and I didn’t change or undress, and it took me only a couple minutes before and after my service, 25 minutes feels extremely rushed.

I did mention to the lady at the front that the service was different, mentioning that I was surprised that my provider didn’t complete extractions. She asked me if the provider had asked me at the beginning if I wanted extractions and that it should be included in the service if I wanted it, and I told her that I was never asked. I do appreciate that she gave me $10 credit towards my next session, however I don’t think that will do much for me, since I don’t think I will be purchasing another appointment after this experience.

It was my first time at the Cary location and it will not be my last! Maria did a phenomenal job on me. She listened attentively to my questions before we got started, and I was even able to switch seamlessly to a different service based on my needs. I got the hydraderm treatment for clogged pores, and it was so relaxing!

I can’t recommend Face Foundrié enough,  especially Aryanna! Her calm demeanor and the relaxing environment she creates make every facial feel like a true reset. I always leave feeling refreshed, glowing, and more confident in my skin. She’s not only gentle and thorough, but also incredibly knowledgeable. I really appreciate all the helpful advice she shares during each visit. If you're looking for someone who makes you feel truly cared for, book with Aryanna, you won’t regret it!
