Survivors of Suicide Loss Grief Support Group is held on the 4th Mon. of every month at 6:30 pm at 119 Garland Ave. in New Philadelphia.
Losing someone to suicide can be a uniquely painful and isolating experience. Our Suicide Loss Survivor Support Group provides a safe, welcoming space for anyone impacted by suicide loss—whether you have lost a family member, partner, friend, colleague, or someone significant in your life.

This peer-led group is grounded in compassion, understanding, and shared lived experience. Participants are invited to connect with others who truly understand the complexities of grief after suicide, including feelings of shock, guilt, anger, confusion, and unanswered questions. There is no “right” way to grieve, and all emotions are honored and respected.

The group offers an opportunity to share your story, listen to others, and find support without judgment or pressure to speak. While the focus is not on fixing grief, the group fosters connection and community.

SOS Grief Support Group Tuscarawas

This group is held on the 4th Thursday of every month at 6:30 at The Hope & Healing Center. It is a group for those grieving any type of traumatic loss under the age of 30 to come and sit with one another and feel heard, seen, and understood. Grieving as a young adult can be challenging due to the complexities of identity and life goals. Grief at this age can interfere with significant life stages, and peers without loss may not be able to understand. During this time, individuals often find themselves laying the foundation for their future. It is a challenging period and even more challenging with grief and loss in the midst. 

Hurting under 30 Grief Support Group

This group is held the 2nd Saturday of every month at 10:30am at The Hope & Healing Center. 

Come fill your cup! ☕️ Connect and chat with other moms, step-moms, and grandmothers who have lost a child or grandchild to suicide or other types of traumatic loss.

Mourning Moms

This group is held on the 3rd Thursday of every month at The Hope & Healing Center. Losing someone to suicide can be a deeply painful and isolating experience, particularly in the early stages of grief. This closed Suicide Loss Survivor Support Group is designed specifically for individuals who are within their first two years of loss and are seeking a supportive, consistent space to process their grief alongside others who understand.

Participation in this group requires advance registration and completion of an intake process before attending. The intake helps ensure the group is a good fit for each participant and allows facilitators to create a supportive and emotionally safe experience for everyone involved.

There is no expectation to share before you are ready. Participants may choose to listen, reflect, or share as they feel comfortable. While this group does not aim to “fix” grief, it provides validation, connection, and gentle support during a particularly vulnerable time.

Professionals Aligned in Trauma Healing 
1st Wednesday of every month at 6:30 pm held at The Hope and Healing Center. Society often doesn't notice or recognize that grief and trauma are a part of the job for first-responders, front-line workers, medical and mental health professionals, clergy, teachers, school staff, chemical dependency professionals, crisis center workers, funeral home and morgue staff, etc. If you are exposed to traumatic events and loss as part of your job, and you are looking for support, this group is for you!

P.A.T.H. Professionals Group

2nd Monday of the month at 6:30 pm held at The Hope and Healing Center
Navigating life after the loss of a spouse can be overwhelming. This supportive group provides a safe, understanding space to connect with others who share similar experiences. Through guided discussions and shared stories, find comfort, strength, and encouragement as you navigate this journey of healing.

Grace after Goodbye Widows Grief Support Group 

1st Thursday of every month at 6:30 pm held at The Hope & Healing Center. 
Compassionate Care Community (TriC) is a supportive space where individuals can share their grief openly, no matter the type of loss they have experienced. Whether mourning a loved one, facing the loss of a relationship, struggling with an unrecognized or complex grief, or navigating life after an unexpected change, all are welcome. This includes grief that is often misunderstood or overlooked, such as the loss of a pet, miscarriage, infertility, estrangement, the death of an ex-partner, or the passing of someone from stigmatized circumstances. This group provides a safe and understanding space to process emotions, find comfort, and connect with others who truly understand. Through shared experiences and compassionate support, members are reminded they are not alone on their healing journey.
