I am incredibly grateful for the exceptional medical care provided by SmartMed. Melissa, NP, is outstanding at listening, thoroughly assessing, and clearly communicating during each visit. (I have started using her as my PCP.) My son recently used the drive-thru urgent care, and she was his provider as well. The entire team is genuinely helpful and supportive.
I recently lost access to the PCP I’d been established with after they went out of network. To be honest, I never felt like I was receiving great care there anyway, but I take a long-term medication and needed someone to continue prescribing it. The bar was low. Very low. After calling around as a prospective self-pay patient, I started losing hope. I was being quoted well over $700 for a routine visit and medication refill, which felt unbelievable and frankly hard to justify. We have now used SmartMed twice and the service is phenomenal. The first time we went was for my daughter who was dealing with bronchitis and an ear infection. She was so sick, so it was nice to keep her in the car while she was seen. The second time was for my son when I was worried he had a sinus infection and we also were short on time. Both times we got in and out in a little over 15 minutes. I can’t say enough about the staff, the doctors, and how easy and convenient it is. Thank you all for being so kind and efficient when it matters most.
