Love Data Week 2026 Kickoff: A Fireside Chat with Stephanie Shonekan and Michelle Appel
Join us as we kick off Love Data Week 2026 at UMD. Chief Data Officer, Michelle Appel, will host our welcome session, including a fire sidechat with Dr. Stepahie Shonekan, Dean of the College of Arts and Humanities. Listen in as we explore how data appear in places and forms we might not expect. Dr. Shonekan will share her perspectives on how she feels the use of data differs between the humanities and STEM disciplines, and what we have to learn from each other. NOTE: This session will be recorded. Please consider this as you choose your level of participation.
