Grade Replacement Form

Grade replacements are eligible for students who have retaken a course they had previously taken at UC. You are allowed to grade replace up to 18 hours or 7 classes, whichever comes first. This will drop the lower attempt from your UC GPA. In order to do a grade replacement, fill out the form at the button below after you had completed your second attempt

***Grade replacements do not completely get rid of your first attempt, it will still remain on your transcript with an * next to the original grade to signify you retook the class
***Graduate schools determine what they want to do with grade replacements, some take the higher attempt, some average the two grades, please contact the graduate programs you are applying for to determine their policy

If you are interested in changing your major, please contact me telling me (zaniaj@ucmail.uc.edu) you want to change your major and the following:

1. The new major you are interested in going into
2. If there is any doubt about switching, or if you are like 50/50 on switching, please let me know
3. If you don't know what major you want, just state your desired career or even state you don't know what career or major you want.

I will then provide you with next steps, which may be to meet with me or another office.

The process for adding a minor is different for each minor, so you will want to reach out to me (zaniaj@ucmail.uc.edu) to figure out how to add your specific minor, please include which minor or certificate you'd like to add to your account in the email.

Class Permission Request

If you are unable to sign up for class because you do not meet the pre-requisites, or the class is closed, and you need that course to graduate "on time", you can feel free to fill out the form below. This form gets sent to the professor who then makes a decision if they want to allow you in that section or not.

Please Note: This should only be done if not taking the course will delay graduation and there are no other options. You should not be doing this because a friend is in that section or it just "works better for my schedule".
